Splinterlands Art Contest 318 / Digital Drawing Of Fire Dwarf

Hello friends,
I hope you all are doing okay? I want to use this medium to appreciate the @splinterlands team for selecting my work amist that of great artists in the last splinterlands edition. I came out 7th place and really excited, its something I've dreamt of for a long time thank you so much. I'm really excited to be part of this weeks splinterlands art contest, i would be making my entry to this weeks art contest with a digital drawing i made of the character Fire Dwarf. Fire Dwarf is a character that i kind of live seeing with his different features making him look like a greek god but eventually he is not. I love the diplay of energy in this particular character, I've previously made a drawing of this sort before which gave me more direction on how to go about this particular drawing. So making the rough sketch wasn't easy but i went through with it and it came out okay.

Fire Dwarf

It all started with a rough sketch of the image with in other words you can call the line art, its a very sketchy one because i was unsure of what to do any following my inspiration. I filled the image with a mid tone before adding up darker tones to see how firm the image would be then i did the same for the cloth. Still on that the beards were missing and its was starting to look weird so i add the beard which was fire and it gave the image a kind of dramatic effect. After that the only Challenge i had was add the light shades which to me took a lot of time but I'm happy it came out okay. I used the Ibis paint app on my Samsung galaxy tab A to make this drawing.
