Splinterlands social media challenge / Digital drawing of Radiated Brute

Hello friends,
Its another amazing week of the Splinterland social media challenge organized by @splinterlands. And i would be making my entry with a digital drawing of Radiated Brute. This character actually reminds me of Shehulk, her fierce looks kind of makes her beautiful you might say otherwise but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I'm so happy about how it all turned out but i guess it needs some improvement. So come with me as i discuss the procedure.

• PROCEDURE

It all started with the rough skech of the image which took quite sometime to create.

I began to lay out my colors one by one starting from the skin choosing of colors are really delicate cause they display/ determine the look of the image.

I was done layering the bass color.

I began to add tbe depth of the image starting with that of the skin. Every image has its contrast that is it light and dark areas other wise the image is flat. So i started with the skin then other parts of the drawing as you can see bellow. I apply the dark shades using a watercolour brush.

Finally i add my light shades and used the blur brush to blend the whole color together.
