Christmas Contest: My movie recommendation for this Christmas.

Hello friends, I haven't published anything about movies for a while so I took advantage of the opportunity of this Christmas Contest carried out by the Movies & TV Shows community to write about the movies or series that we like the most that have to do with Christmas. I was thinking of making a strange list of films that are not Christmas but have or observe certain aspects of this holiday, I gave up on that idea because perhaps it would have been confused so I'm playing it safe. So my first recommendation is the following.

The Man who invented Christmas

As a summary of the film, I comment that it is about the great writer Charles Dickens, he tells us how he created one of the most famous and brilliant Christmas stories, after having tasted literary triumph, he falls into misfortune where he is rejected by almost all the houses. publishers, who refuse to publish their works. Charles Dickens in this great film is a true beauty that must be appreciated.

Without a doubt, for me it is a worthy and beautiful film that recreates one of the greatest inspirations of this famous English writer of the 19th century or the Victorian era, creating one of his most transcendental works in evoking the magic of Christmas in continuing to conquer new fans of it over the years. Since its plot is captivating from beginning to end and its moral is very instructive in the sense of the word.

My next title to recommend is called Jack Frost, from 1997 starring Michael Keaton. I have seen some movies with the theme of the second chance, but this is my favorite. It tells us the story of a father who is always absent in his family's life, especially in the life of his son, since as a musician he is always busy and on tours that never end. One day he has an accident in which he dies, leaving his son alone, but with a special gift that makes him remember, this gift brings Jack back to life, but not in the way we all think but rather he comes back in the form of a doll. snow, and it is here where you receive that second opportunity to share with your child.

My last recommendation is the first special Christmas episode of The Simpsons, this episode began a whole traditional date of special Christmas episodes, as well as Halloween. The chapter I mention below is one of the best because it reflects not only Christmas, but the daily spirit of people, the sacrifice of a man to provide for his family in the midst of difficulties with a load of black humor without comparison. Here Homer has promised a Christmas full of gifts, but he did not count on the fact that his job would not give him the expected Christmas remuneration, for which he must look for an extra job. Homer, furious, thinks about abandoning him, but Bart tells him to adopt him, in one of his unpredictable changes, Homer does so and takes him home, and with him, a great joy that everyone feels as they share the love for the new member of the family. I highly recommend that you see it, despite the black humor, the dialogues are incredible and very intelligent, and they reflect situations that we have all experienced at some point.
