Congratulations to Greg Fergus on his historic election as the first black Speaker of the House of Commons. This momentous moment symbolizes the progress and diversity of the democratic institution. With his leadership, I am optimistic that Speaker Fergus will lead Parliament into a positive and inclusive future.
Too bad I cannot say the same for my country, as all powers are controlled by the government.
