The advice I can give to my fellow gender(female) LOH#171

Everyone can attest to the fact, that the world has changed and it keeps changing daily but if we are not careful and wise enough, we will fall.
Technology is advancing and things are changing, our reasonings are changing also. Things are no longer the same as yesterday. Nobody can preview what the world will become in the next 10 to 20 years to come, NO ONE! That's why, as a woman

What would you like to say to young women today, what advice would you give them?

If I start now, I might not finish highlighting my kind of advice to my fellow gender, even if I can turn back the hands of time, I will do wonders for myself because I have learned and grown to know some things I should have known before now and I'm still craving to know more.

• Don't ever underestimate yourself:
  Recognize your strengths, abilities, and potential. Trust your instincts and strive to achieve your goals with determination. This reminds me of one of our first ladies, I mean, the former wife of the president. She was unable to communicate in good English as she didn't go to school beyond primary but, she never underestimated herself to deliver the wrong spoken English to the masses.

What I saw was that she never believed her spoken English was wrong, and never saw herself as a failure. We are still laughing anytime we remember her.
*Quench the spirit of I cannot do it and strive to become somebody.

• Embrace lifelong learning: It is so surprising to see a young vibrant lady with her body intact and yet refuse to get knowledge. Some will even say, it's a waste of time as they would end up in the kitchen. As a woman, invest in your personal and professional development.

If there's no ability to study, Learn a skill. Seek new knowledge, acquire new skills, and stay updated with current trends and advancements. Don't stop learning because Readers are Leaders 👍

• Build a good relationship: Surround yourself with positive, like-minded individuals who inspire and uplift you. Cultivate relationships with friends, mentors, and role models who support you in your personal and professional growth. Get acquainted with people who can elevate you. Have somebody you can look up to and this is not achievable by staying at home from morning till night.
  *Stop tying wrappers to gossip all day *

• Be positive to yourself: Learn to express your thoughts, feelings, and opinions positively. Stand up for yourself and prioritize your desires without fear. Develop good communication skills to navigate both personal and professional relationships. Surround yourself with positive vibes that can wake you up. This is 2024, NO GREE FOR ANYBODY EVEN, FAKE FRIENDS.

• Go after your passions: Find what truly excites and inspires you, and strive to pursue it. Whether it's a hobby, career, or personal interest, follow your passions and allow them to bring fulfillment and purpose to your life. There's no soul without passion or talent. It is not everyone that will do white-collar jobs but everybody should be up and doing.

• Embrace financial independence: Develop an understanding of personal finance, savings, and investment. Become financially self-reliant, and don't always wait for a man before you can make financial decisions, when you are financially stable, then, securing a good future for yourself will not be a problem. Don't be lazy, weak, or excuse giver.

• Don't ever embrace comparisons, imitations, and fake life: As a woman, we need to learn from people but we should never copy them. Don't ever compare your life, success, marriage, career, and so on to the lives of others. Comparison kills faster than malaria, it leads to frustration, jealousy, and insecurity which can eventually lead to untimely death or depression. Don't buy a wig of #100.000 when your monthly salary is #45,000👌

Women are unique, they are accommodating, fearful, fragile, and supportive. Women are now found in higher places unlike before when they were restrained to the kitchen and bearing children only. Women are standing up to challenge men nowadays and it is only the women who have something to offer that can stand up against the odds of nowadays.
