Hello, Foodies from all over the world and galaxy! Here @sirenahippie. We are back again!

image.png

Throughout the planet, there are various culinary cultures, different cuisines, different traditions linked to food, which deserve to be known, studied, and appreciated. As a gastronomic community, Foodies Bee Hive considers among its objectives that our beloved #foodies enrich their blogs, presenting varied and quality content, avoiding the repetition of recipes.

image.png

For this reason, we have decided to hold a FOODIE CONTEST: TYPICAL SWEETS AND DESSERTS (FROM OTHER COUNTRIES), in which you will dedicate yourself to researching and documenting a typical dessert or sweet from a country other than yours, and you will do it as faithfully as possible to the original version of it. In this case no variations will be allowed, that is why we will give you a long period of time (4 weeks), so that you can investigate other cultures and cuisines, in various documentary, electronic, bibliographic, oral sources, the variety of information currently available about this topic is huge.

image.png

That being said, let's see in more detail what this contest consists of

CONTEST CONDITIONS (PLEASE READ EACH ONE CAREFULLY)

  • Only one post per participant will be accepted.
  • The recipes to share will only be for TYPICAL SWEETS AND DESSERTS (FROM OTHER COUNTRIES) . You must prepare a typical sweet or desserts from a country different from yours.

  • The publication must contain an introduction where you will talk about the recipe, why you have chosen it and share the documentary, electronic, bibliographic or oral sources from which you have obtained it. You must clearly express why you have chosen that recipe.
  • You must clearly indicate which country you are from and which country the recipe you have selected is from.
  • NO PLAGIARISM WILL BE ACCEPTED, NEITHER TEXT OR PHOTOS. NO OLD CONTENT, NO REPOST.

  • The list of ingredients must be clearly expressed, in understandable measures in any part of the planet. Likewise, they must indicate how much product will be obtained, either in portions or in any other measure.

  • The recipe must be accompanied by a minimum of ten (10) photographs, and in at least five (5) of them, the participant must be preparing the preparation. At the end of the post, the final product must be already plated or served. You can post more photos if you wish. Referential photos will NOT be accepted, even if they are free of copyright.

  • Avoid photographs that focus only on the contents of the container, pot or bowl. You are not asking for a panoramic view of your kitchen, but at least an area of the prep environment, showing part of the backsplash, countertop, stove, walls. Do not be afraid if your kitchen is old, or is very modest. The opening of the plane of the photograph is important, as it allows the reader a more complete and understandable appreciation of the recipe.

  • Take care of writing and spelling.

  • Explanations must be clear and understandable.

  • It is NOT necessary to include the title of this post within the title of the participating post, so you are FREE to put the title you want to your posts.

Hi @indahayuu

I'm really sorry I missed your message. Of course, you can make a recipe from YouTube or Instagram or any other social network or gastronomic page, as long as you indicate the source clearly, to give credit to its author.

There is still time for you to participate, you will surely do something great.

Greetings.

Thank you for providing this initiative and thus motivating me to vary my tastes and at the same time meet and learn from others.😍👍

I have a question: can I use as a reference a post from one of my hive followers who are from other countries? That they have already published on @foodiesbeehive and take it as a guide post to make their recipe and participate in the initiative?

Hi @elizpc, you're welcome. Yes, you can use a recipe from another Hiver colleague, as long as you indicate with absolute clarity where you took the recipe from, sharing the link to the post and giving credit to the original author of the recipe.

Buenas noches @ml-chinoxd

https://peakd.com/hive-120586/@foodiesunite/engesp-suggestions-for-writing-posts-in-the-foodies-bee-hive-community

Si tienes alguna duda, puedes preguntar al equipo. Saludos.
