I decided to make this delicious chicken with a condiment called Curry.

I read📖 that this condiment is originally from India, but thanks to colonization and commercialization we currently have this spice on the shelves of supermarkets and in many places around the world.

I love💕 the flavor that this condiment brings to chicken, fish, shrimp🍤, goat, uff, it makes me remember when my mother used to buy curry from Trinidad and Tobago in the market, which is the one that came years ago to my beloved town of Punta de Mata in Venezuela.

When my mother used to prepare the chicken curry the house was impregnated with that pleasant smell that still comes to my memory.

Me anime hacer este ricos muslos de pollo🍗 con un condimento llamado Curry.

Le leído que este condimento es originario de la india, pero gracias a la colonización y comercialización tenemos actualmente esta especie en los anaqueles de los supermercados y en muchos lugares del mundo.

Me encanta el sabor que le aporta este condimento al pollo, pescado, camarones,🍤 chivo, uff, me hace recordar cuando mi madre compraba en el mercado el curry procedente de Trinidad Tobago que es el que llegaba hace años a mi querido pueblo de Punta de Mata en Venezuela.

Cuando mamá preparaba el pollo al curry la casa se impregnaba de ese agradable olor que aún llega a mi memoria.

Mi madre solía prepararlo de otra manera yo por andar apurada lo aplique como te indico a continuación.

En esta oportunidad tenia prisa por hacer el almuerzo, por lo que procedí a condimentar los muslos de pollo con esta aromática especie, un poco de sal, oregano y corte un pimiento verde que tenia en el refrigerador.

En la estufa a fuego medio coloque un poco de aceite para sellar la superficie de los muslos.

Add a little more curry to give it more flavor.

Coloque un poco más de curry para darle mas sabor.

Cover for a while so that it releases its own juices; after 10 minutes add a little water to cook the meat very well.

Tape un rato para que soltara sus propios jugos; a los 10 minutos agregue un poco de agua para que se cocinera muy bien la carne.

I prepared rice on the side while the chicken was cooking and served with plenty of sauce.

You can accompany this delicious chicken with plantains, cassava, tortillas, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, etc.

It is ideal if you want to eat chicken with a different flavor than the one you usually prepare if you use curry as a condiment.

Preparé aparte un arroz mientras se cocinaba el pollo y serví con bastante salsa.

Puedes acompañar este rico pollo con Plátano, casabe, tortillas , pure, vegetales, ensalada etc.

Es ideal si deseas comer el pollo con un sabor diferente al que sueles preparar si ocupas el curry como condimento.
