Hello everyone! After a very long time without participating in the weekly contests, today I decided to resume my participation, so for this occasion I will answer the second question made by @ladiesofhive, the same is titled: If money were no object, would you consider undergoing cosmetic surgery to improve your appearance? What part of your body would you like to modify? Share your opinion with us.
¡Hola a todas! Después de muchísimo tiempo sin participar en los concursos semanales, hoy he decidí retomar con mi participación en la comunidad, por ello, para esta ocasión responderé a la segunda interrogante realizada por @ladiesofhive, la misma se titula: Si el dinero no fuera un problema, ¿consideraría someterse a una operación de cirugía estética para mejorar su aspecto? ¿Qué parte de su cuerpo le gustaría modificar? Comparta su opinión con nosotros.
We have all reached the point of thinking that we need to change something about ourselves to feel good, and yes, nowadays studies have shown how people have seen the need to alter their bodies to have a better self-esteem. That said, I consider myself a person who values and loves myself as God created me. However, I remember that at one point in my life I longed to make some changes to my body such as shaping my nose and enlarging my breasts, since they are small. This I came to think, because people began to create in me, much insecurity to the point of wanting to make those changes to satisfy them and show that I could change and look better (be within the standards of beauty).
Todas hemos llegado a ese punto de pensar que necesitamos cambiar algo de nosotras para sentirnos bien, y es que sí, hoy día los estudios han demostrado, como las personas se han visto en la necesidad de alterar su cuerpo para tener una mejor autoestima. Dicho esto, me considero una persona que me valoro y amo tal cual como Dios me creó. Sin embargo, recuerdo que en un punto de mi vida anhelaba realizar algunos cambios a mi cuerpo como lo era perfilar mi nariz y agrandar mis senos, ya que, son pequeños. Esto lo llegué a pensar, debido a que las personas comenzaron a crear en mí, mucha inseguridad hasta ese punto de desear realizar esos cambios para satisfacerlos y demostrar que si podía cambiar y tener un mejor aspecto (estar dentro de los estándares de belleza)
Now, I have never done it in the first place, for fear of something going wrong and dying during the surgery, it is too much risk honestly. And secondly, because I have not had the funds to cover all the expenses that such a delicate surgery requires.
Ahora bien, nunca he llegado a realizarlo en primer lugar, por miedo a que algo salga mal y muera durante la cirugía, es mucho riesgo sinceramente. Y segundo, porque no he tenido fondos como para suplir todos los gastos que requiere una cirugía tan delicada como esta.
There is no doubt that if money were not a problem for me to undergo these expensive surgeries, I would choose to carry out both surgeries I mentioned before, but, as I am too scared and fearful, I would prefer to enjoy the body God has given me, I would take care of it without the need to alter its parts. Although, I know that deep down I project or rather imagine what I would look like with my breasts a little big and my nose shaped (although lately I have loved it).
No cabe duda, que si el dinero no fuera un problema para mí para someterme a estas costosas cirugías, optaría por llevar a cabo ambas cirugías que mencioné con anterioridad, pero, como me da demasiado miedo y temor, preferiblemente disfrutaría el cuerpo que Dios me ha dado, lo cuidaría sin necesidad de alterar sus partes. Aunque, sé que en el fondo me proyecto o mejor dicho imagino que tal me vería con mis senos un poco grande y mi nariz perfilada (aunque últimamente la he amado)
In conclusion, I was very pleased to be part of the contest. Here's a thought from Oscar Wilde that says "Loving yourself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"

After looking at the photos, I believe you don't need to change yourself. Your honesty in valuing yourself as you are is inspiring. Resisting the pressure to conform to societal beauty standards takes courage.

I share your reluctance in exposing myself to the risks of complications and the results cannot be guaranteed to work.
Instead of wasting valuable medical resources on me, I would ask my Donator to allocate those resources to someone who genuinely needs it like; a person who needs a knee joint replacement to return to work, inserting a stent in a coronary artery to prevent a heart attack, cancer surgery, or a mother needing an urgent Cesarean operation for a safe birth.

Excellent, I share your opinion. We tend in different situations to complain about what we don't have, that we lose sight of how fortunate we are to be whole and in very good health. Now that we know how blessed we are, we should simply be thankful and love ourselves as we are🤗

Eres hermosa, si ponerme más senos es complicado, creo que la operación que jamás me haría es la de nariz, porque ella es el equilibrio del rostro. Igual siempre uno debe hacer lo que haga sentir bien.

Tienes muchísima razón, hoy día he pensado que esas cirugías no son necesaria para mi cuerpo, preferiblemente invertir en una alimentación más balanceada y hacer mucho ejercicio. Con relación a la cirugía en la nariz, estoy totalmente de acuerdo, gracias pro dejar tu valioso comentario, ¡saludos!
