Why I will Choose This Meals Over Others

As a foodie 😊 yeah, I know that sound very familiar as most of us these days are not intimidated to admit our love for food.

I have a lot of favorite foods. I mean why not? Food is life right? Take away food from this life and everything could be so tasteless and lifeless.

So for this week's #hiveghana prompt that requires us to talk about our favorite food I have decided to narrow it down to just three and I will tell you why I have picked them.

Rice

Rice found its way to the top of my favorite food. Why not the rice you said? Rice can be cooked in so many delicious ways. But my best kind of rice is the Nigeria Jollof rice. Well if you know one or two things about Nigeria at all, you will know we cook the most delicious kind of jollof rice, I kid you not. I loved it when enrich and garnished with carrot 🥕, a lot of onions, green pills and green beans, and intestines. It is very tasty, delicious, rich in nutrition and healthy. Give me this type of rice anytime any day and I will love you for it. To top it up with my homemade tiger nut milk drink, ulalala!😋 Say no more.

Jollof rice alone is not the only way I love rice, sometimes I eat it white with lots of vegetables which even makes it healthier.

Or just give me any delicious kind of rice and I'm good to go.

Egg Omelet

I learned how to create this recipe some time ago and it has been my favorite ever since. It is perfect for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. The major ingredients required are about three eggs, four Irish potatoes. Depending on the number of serves. Onions and spring onions, a little cooking oil for frying and salt and seasoning.

The procedure isn't that time-consuming, it is healthy, delicious and tasty. So tell me, what not to love about it.? I love it. I prepare it for my family a lot of the time and they enjoy eating it anytime.

Melon soup with scent leaves

Melon soup is my tribal soup. My tribe, Ebira, loves this soup. We cherish it together with pounded yam, semovita, or any type of swallow. My preferred swallow with the soup is a well-prepared semo, hot and soft. I cherish this delicacy any day, anytime.

I may not currently have an image to back this up but I want you to always remember this, My tribal well prepared melon's soup, garnished with scent leaves, is one of the best soups you can ever imagine. It is so beneficial to a healthy body that a new mom in our place is advisable to eat it for couples of months for effective healing of her body. Believe me when I say that it works like a charm as I can personally testify to its effectiveness after the birth of my son.

My mom made sure I ate this soup for a complete six months and my body went back as perfect as if I had never carried a child in my belly. Not only this, it is a great remedy for the baby's corlic. For its health benefits and its good taste, I choose this soup over any other any day anytime.

When it comes to food I have a lot of favorites as I have learned to explore our different local delicacies over time but I will like to just stop at these three for today.

Thank you very much for your visit and for your support. I hope that you enjoy my thoughts on the topic. Do have a beautiful day at your end.😊🥰🙏❤

Kindly note that all images are mine
