Monomad: an old hut and some relics left by ancestors
hello guys, everyone
One day I visited one of the areas not so far from where I live today, in ancient times the majority of Acehnese people, especially in my area lived with makeshift houses, but for them even if it looks like a small hut they feel like living in a palace, because in ancient times having a simple house already made them feel comfortable, And they did any work that did not have a grinding machine unlike today.
To cover the hut they use matting from the frond of the rumbia tree, as seen in the picture I took, they made their own manually, but this frond can last decades, try to imagine before I was born this frond of weeds already existed, I do not understand our ancestors could have a sense that is not affordable with young people today.for the roof itself they use weed leaves that have dried and then Then in the army with a bamboo tree that has split into small pieces. And beside this hut there are two steps made of wood, very sturdy, the wood of the steps is still intact and is still Bugis today.
Actually, there are some items and tools left by the ancestors, such as a lusung made of cement and another tool made of wood, they daily use this tool to process food, such as repeating rice and flour, when they need it they will use this tool. But it is a pity that these tools are lying and flying and not maintained at all. I am very stretched, they must store it well, currently in my area it is very difficult to find items left by ancestors.
I will include an old hut and some leftover items from ancestors in a daily #monomad challenge organized and curated by @monochromes
Thank you very much for your participation and support, hopefully with some of the pictures above can make friends entertained. See you again the next day.
