Have you ever eaten pupusas?

The pupusas are the traditional food here in El Salvador Central America, but what is this dishes, here a little explanation of how to prepared this and how to enjoy it.

The pupusas are a corn dough mix with a little quantity of specific ingredients inside, and then you put in a hot superficie to cook it

For the ingredient mixture, we finely chop the plants and mix them with the cheese until a uniform dough is formed, which will be the filling for our nixtamalized corn masa.

Well what do you need to prepared it, well let's begining.

Ingredients:

3 pound of corn dough.
1 pound of cheese, specific mozzarella cheese, or same kind of cheese.
1 pound of beans blender.
1 pound of loroco, cochinito, papelillo, or a specific herbs to prepared the mix.
3 onzes of oil.
Salt.

Well how do you prepared it, first we need to take a make little balls of corn dough, and open the ball and put inside of this the mix ingredientes, like cheese, beans blender and the herbs, then you with your hand close the ball, you should been very carefully with your hand close the corn dough, and trying to conserve the ingredients inside of the ball and then, you can clap with your hand and, form a circles in form of plates, and you put this in the hot surface, and wait for around 3 minutes, until the corn dough, star to changed the color and you calculate that has cooked very well.

Finally, once our exquisite pupusas are well cooked, we serve them with tomato sauce and curtido, which is shredded cabbage pickled in vinegar or boiled, giving it a delicious texture for our exquisite pupusas, our beloved traditional food from El Salvador, the land of the BTC.

I'd never seen these before. Loved them!

I'm not sure about the mix of herbs; I think I may not find most of them around here, but I can use the ones we have.
