Show Me A Photo (SMAP) Contest 180 - A Regular Customer

The theme for this week is:

ORDINARY BIRD

There are so many ordinary birds in our neighborhood from sparrows to pigeons to street chicken to fan tailed to red maya. But of all the ordinary birds in and around our area there is one that is absolutely a joy to photograph. And this is no other than the Yellow-vented Bulbul. I have featured this bird in so many SMAP Rounds before but I still continue to feature them when the opportunity arises, like now. He's what you may call a regular customer.

You see, this particular bird is not as flighty or easily to scare and would actually not mind being photographed, especially when perching on electric lines or wires. Just this morning, I have decided to feature the red maya in this Round but what do you know. Mr. Yellow-vented Bulbul just suddenly perched on the wires while I was walking below and did not really care that I was already underneath him and taking his picture. So I decided to enter him instead of the red maya. Here he is.

I was lucky I was able to capture the yellow patch in his belly which is the reason why he is named as such.

He must have been calling his mate as his beak was open. But no one came. So he left after a while.
