SMAP 190 - Let's Go Fly A Kite
It's almost the end of this Round 190 of the Show Me A Photo Contest or SMAP hosted by @nelinoeva. The link to the contest could be found here. Do read up and join us, if you haven't yet.
The theme for this week is:
WINGS
I lucked out on this week's theme as the photo I entered in last week's Free Theme already had wings in them and try as hard as I can, I couldn't get anymore good photos of any bird with its wings spread or opened. But as they say, necessity is the mother of invention or, in this instance, some thinking out of the box. I remembered in one of my jogs in the next door subdivision I took these photos.
Kinda looks like the photo in the contest post, doesn't it?
Well, I really don't know what specie of feathered friend this is but it does show a lot of wingspread so appropriate for our theme this week. I would say a hawk or falcon. Only thing is it's tied to a string and is not alive. It's a kite!
Well, I hope this gets allowed by our host as an entry. If it does my choice is the last photo. I just didn't have much material to go with for this round. Just some Woodswallows flying from a distance.
All for now. Hope you liked this post. Have a blessed Sunday everyone.
(All photos are mine.)
The person who made this kite must be someone who is very skilled, very similar to a real eagle in flight.
I agree with you. And it can really go very high as well. Thanks for dropping in. 😀
My pleasure ☺️
I love your way of thinking, because these wings are very much acceptable.
You are full with surprises. 🙂
Thanks for accepting my entry. It's always a pleasure to join SMAP 😀
