I was doing some gardening one mid-morning when the sound of chirping in the garage area caught my interest. A lot of sparrows where happily zooming in and out from the electric wires above, swooping in to nibble on the food that our dogs did not finish. Some were perched on the clothes wire that hung from the gate's post to the other end of the garage. Some were hanging by their claws on the wall looking like rock climbers. I took some photos of them, not realizing that in one particular sequence, I was able to recreate a wintry effect.
Brrrr. It's only autumn in the western world with hardly a hint of snow but here in our place I already have a thick coat of snow blanketing the wall. At least that's the ambiance created by the photos.
But how was this possible? Well, a couple of years ago we had our wall painted white. Our neighbor had a much higher wall which we did not bother to paint anymore. This resulted in a wall half white and half unpainted. See below.
Well I guess the white paint does look like snow, would you agree? For my entry, please see photo below. A sparrow in winter wonderland.
All for now. May you all have a blessed Sunday.

It does look like snow. 🙂 Very well captured as a background.
You are always full with surprises.
