SMASh 326 - Remembering The Movie Easy Rider

Hello shadow lovers. This is Round 326 of the Show Me A Shadow or SMASh Contest hosted by @melinda010100. Check out the contest post here. Read up and be a shadow hunter like us. It's fun, really.

I was walking home one morning, coming from the makeshift market outside our subdivision, when I saw this motorcycle. It made me remember the movie Easy Rider starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

I don't know why but it brought memories about the movie which I think I saw way back in 1972. That's a generation ago! It's not even a big bike, for crying out loud. But I think it was the handle that made me recall the movie. They were extended like the ones these two guys rode.

Anyway, I suddenly noticed that it was casting a really cool shadow and I thought I'd enter it in the SMASh. So here's my entry to this Round. The photo below.

I'll never ever forget that movie. 1972 it was shown here in our place. Our whole 4th year high class, including our valedictorian- and salututorian-to be went to see the movie on a school day! Mass absence in school. This must be around your time too, right?

Right around my time as I graduated H.S. in 1970.
The teachers at your school had to be wondering what the heck was going on.

Luckily our afternoon class professor, God bless his soul, knew about it and covered up for us when the principal came looking for us. Told the principal he sent us out on a class project. Haha. Great guy. 👍
