Esto hace especial a Santa en las Calles LOH #169 (ESP-ENG)

¡Hola ladies!💜

Un placer estar de nuevo por esta preciosa comunidad de ladies. En esta oportunidad me llamó mucho la atención la pregunta número dos acerca de cuál es mi organización benéfica favorita y que la hace especial.

Honestamente, cualquier organización que requiera mi ayuda y yo esté en condición física o económica de ayudarte, lo haré. Pero, en mi corazón tiene un sitio especial Santa en las calles. Al punto de que al ver el calendario de diciembre, se que un sábado estará apartado para ser parte de tan bonita iniciativa.

Desde el 2019 estoy participando y me arrepiento de no haber iniciado antes (ya tienen 16 años). Es una jornada tal vez dura, porque es pasar todo un día clasificando regalos, envolviendolos y saliendo al final de la tarde a entregarlos a personas en situación de calle y comunidades vulnerables.

Es una experiencia bonita, donde sientes una energía maravillosa de todos aquellos que están ahí dispuestos a clasificar miles de donativos, que luego serán envueltos para ser entregados a gente que lo necesita. Personas que en plena caravana ves dar gracias a Dios, a ti y a todos por lo que están recibiendo hoy. He participado envolviendo donativos, decorando papel de regalo, cocinando alimentos que serán repartidos en la caravana, haciendo lettering para solicitar apoyo de otros. En todo lo que pueda ayudar y esté a mi alcance, ahí estaré.

Es un día agotador pero satisfactorio, donde tienes los sentimientos a flor de piel pero quedas contento por la labor que realizaste.

A pleasure to be back in this beautiful community of ladies. This time I was really struck by question number two about what is my favorite charity and what makes it special.

Honestly, any organization that needs my help and I am physically or financially able to help you, I will. But, in my heart there is a special place in my heart for Santa in the Streets. To the point that when I see the December calendar, I know that one Saturday will be set aside to be part of such a beautiful initiative.

Since 2019 I am participating and I regret not having started earlier (they are already 16 years old). It is perhaps a hard journey, because it is to spend a whole day sorting gifts, wrapping them and leaving at the end of the afternoon to deliver them to homeless people and vulnerable communities.

It is a beautiful experience, where you feel a wonderful energy of all those who are there ready to classify thousands of donations, which will then be wrapped to be delivered to people in need. People that in the middle of the caravan you see giving thanks to God, to you and to everyone for what they are receiving today. I have participated in wrapping donations, decorating wrapping paper, cooking food that will be distributed in the caravan, doing lettering to solicit support from others. Whatever I can do to help and whatever I can do to help, I will be there.

It is an exhausting but satisfying day, where your feelings are on edge but you are happy for the work you have done.
