Contest: Love is in the air-Crocheted bouquet of roses and daisies [ESP–ENG]
Saludos, parece mentira que ya estamos en el mes de febrero, no sé ustedes, pero yo siento que los días van muy de prisa, tanto que el día de San Valentín fue ayer y casi lo olvido; lo bueno es que @diyhub ha propuesto la fantástica idea de traer como tema del mes "El Amor", razón por la que surgieron infinidades de ideas en mi mente, pero la que más ruido hizo, fueron las flores.
Greetings, it seems incredible that we are already in the month of February, I don't know about you, but I feel that the days go very fast, so much that Valentine's Day was yesterday and I almost forgot it; the good thing is that @diyhub has proposed the fantastic idea of bringing as the theme of the month "Love", which is why an infinite number of ideas came up in my mind, but the one that made the most noise was flowers.
Me confieso amante de la naturaleza y por ende de las flores, como obsequio; ellas nunca fallan, así que me dije, que tanto pensar si ellas representan muy bien el amor. Como mi participación he traído un pequeño ramo de flores entre rosas y margaritas elaboradas en crochet; son realmente sencillas de elaborar y por supuesto duraderas porque las podemos lavar cuidadosamente y siempre quedaran como nuevas.
I confess myself a nature lover and therefore of flowers, as a gift; they never fail, so I said to myself, why think so much if they represent love very well. As my participation I have brought a small bouquet of flowers between roses and daisies crocheted; they are really simple to make and of course durable because we can wash them carefully and they will always look like new.
Materiales:
Hilo de crochet en color rojo, blanco y amarillo
2 Palitos de altura
Alambre de floristería
Papel crepé en color rosado y verde
Pega en barra
Aguja de tejer crochet
Aguja lanera
Materials:
Crochet thread in red, white and yellow.
2 sticks of height
Florist wire
Crepe paper in pink and green colors
Glue stick
Crochet knitting needle
Wool needle
Pasos de elaboración/Processing steps
Vamos a iniciar trabajando en la elaboración de la rosa y para ello usamos el crochet rojo, del cual levantamos 52 cadenetas y para la primera vuelta lo que hacemos insertar la aguja en la segunda cadeneta e iniciar con puntos bajos, como se muestra en la segunda imagen.
We are going to start working on the elaboration of the rose and for this we use the red crochet, from which we raise 52 chains and for the first round what we do is to insert the needle in the second chain and start with low stitches, as shown in the second image.
En la segunda vuelta levantamos 5 cadenetas, un punto bajo en el primer espacio, dejamos dos espacios libres y en el tercer espacio vamos con un punto bajo, 2 cadenetas y un punto alto; estos tres en un mismo punto, repitiéndolos hasta llegar al final, allí observamos como el tejido va formando ondulaciones debido a los aumentos.
In the second round we raise 5 chains, a single crochet in the first space, we leave two free spaces and in the third space we go with a single crochet, 2 chains and a double crochet; these three in the same stitch, repeating them until we reach the end, there we observe how the fabric is forming undulations due to the increases.
En la siguiente vuelta, comenzamos con un punto deslizado, levantamos 3 cadenetas y en el siguiente punto vamos a tejer juntos; 2 puntos altos, 2 cadenetas y 2 puntos altos; vemos como se van formando especies de M con orificio en el centro.
In the next round, we start with a slip stitch, we pick up 3 chains and in the next stitch we will knit together; 2 double crochets, 2 chains and 2 double crochets; we can see how an M shape is formed with a hole in the center.
La última vuelta es la que define los pétalos y esta la vamos a tejer justo en los orificios que quedaron en la vuelta anterior, por lo que hacemos; 8 puntos altos justo en el orificio y un punto bajo fuera del orificio para poder repetir el proceso, así continuamos hasta llegar al final terminando con un punto deslizado, rematamos y cortamos el hilo.
The last row is the one that defines the petals and this one we are going to knit right in the holes left in the previous row, so we knit; 8 high stitches right in the hole and a low stitch outside the hole to be able to repeat the process, so we continue until we reach the end finishing with a slipped stitch, we finish off and cut the yarn.
Formamos nuestra rosa, enrollando sobre sí y nos ayudamos con la aguja lanera donde tenemos colocado hilo de color rojo para ir cociendo con puntos muy sutiles, pero a la vez muy seguros, de manera que la rosa no se desarme.
We form our rose, rolling it on itself and we help us with the wool needle where we have placed red thread to go cooking with very subtle stitches, but at the same time very safe, so that the rose is not disarmed.
Para las margaritas, vamos a realizar el centro con el crochet de color amarillo; por lo que realizamos un anillo mágico y en él, 6 puntos bajos, cerramos con punto deslizado y la siguiente vuelta será de aumentos, así que obtendremos 12 puntos, hacemos una última vuelta de un punto por espacio; lo que es igual a 12 puntos bajos. Repetimos todo el proceso para obtener una pieza más y al unirlas el centro quedará más abultado.
For the daisies, we are going to make the center with the yellow crochet; so we make a magic ring and in it, 6 single crochet stitches, we close with slipped stitch and the next round will be of increases, so we will obtain 12 stitches, we make a last round of one stitch per space; which is equal to 12 single crochet stitches. We repeat the whole process to obtain one more piece and when we join them the center will be more bulky.
Para unir el centro, tomamos el hilo de crochet blanco con el que vamos a realizar 6 cadenetas, comenzando desde la segunda cadeneta, hacemos puntos medios altos y al llegar al final tendremos 5 puntos, nos vamos al siguiente punto para hacer un punto deslizado e inmediatamente levantamos las 6 cadenetas.
To join the center, we take the white crochet thread with which we are going to make 6 chains, starting from the second chain we make medium high stitches and when we reach the end we will have 5 stitches, we go to the next stitch to make a slip stitch and immediately we lift the 6 chains.
Acá se muestra el avance de los pétalos hasta llegar al final, donde terminamos con punto deslizado, rematamos y cortamos el hilo.
Here we show the progress of the petals until we reach the end, where we finish with slipped stitch, finish off and cut the yarn.
Como vamos a armar un ramo de flores, las rosas deben quedar hacia el frente; entonces tomamos el palito de altura y con el papel crepe comenzamos a forrarlo, colocándole pega para asegurarlo; luego vamos a introducir la punta del palito por la parte trasera de la rosa.
As we are going to assemble a bouquet of flowers, the roses should be towards the front; then we take the height stick and with the crepe paper we begin to line it, placing glue to secure it; then we are going to introduce the tip of the stick through the back of the rose.
Con las margaritas usamos el alambre de floristería, en este caso lo dejé sin forrar, pero si quieren lo pueden hacer; de igual manera pueden usar palitos de altura con las margaritas; Lo bueno del alambre es que podemos darle movilidad a la flor y como ven en la imagen, yo entorche el alambre a los palitos de altura para sujetarlos y a su vez, que las flores queden de lado.
With the daisies we use the florist wire, in this case I left it without lining, but if you want you can do it; in the same way you can use sticks of height with the daisies; The good thing about the wire is that we can give mobility to the flower and as you see in the image, I twist the wire to the sticks of height to hold them and at the same time, that the flowers are sideways.
Con el papel crepe rosado envolvemos y queda nuestro ramo de flores de crochet terminado.
With the pink crepe paper we wrap and our bouquet of crochet flowers is finished.
