Contest: My Favourite Anime Character

Greetings hivers anime lovers, I join the contest proposed by @theanimerealm where they invite you to interact about a favorite anime character and what better occasion to talk about my favorite anime character than this one. Goku without a doubt is my favorite character; this is the main star of Dragon Ball, he is a cheerful, optimistic, determined, kind and funny character, the reason why I really like this character and he is one of my favorites is his way of being, despite the great battles he has faced throughout the anime (which mostly almost always risks his life) he is still in search of stronger opponents than him; However, he always remains cheerful and optimistic in the face of any fighter he has against him, especially those who are stronger than him, even if his appearance says otherwise.

I really like this character for his great battle spirit and his great power, Goku is a character that has a unique personality and qualities that many people do not have and need as, I think this series dedicated to children and adolescents is ideal to strengthen optimism in risky situations, spirit or faith that can achieve defeat his opponent, respect for his opponent, friends, wife, among other things with which you can well compare real life.

Although Goku is cheerful, not many of those who don't watch the series don't know that he's a bit of a coward; of course, most of the time he's a tough guy and even a bully, those who have already seen this anime, will know that he's afraid of something... And that something is... Injections. Funny, isn't it? Despite many battles and deaths, yes; Goku has died a total of 3 times, something incredible don't you think?

The 1st. ª death was because of Piccolo, since the older brother of Goku, Raditz suddenly appeared on the planet earth with the mission to eliminate all human beings that inhabit it, in his search he finds Piccolo, but does not give so much importance and only scares him and leaves him somewhat wounded, when he finds his younger brother (Goku) explains his origin and his main mission, Raditz tells him that he must fulfill the mission that was given to him and he clearly rejects it, without any other alternative Raditz gives Goku a blow that leaves him in bad conditions and Raditz takes the opportunity to take Gohan, his only son at that time. Threatening him that if he doesn't bring 100 dead humans he won't give him his son, after all that he takes him and Piccolo arrives to help Goku to recover Gohan.

So both brothers face each other, after an intense battle Goku manages to catch his brother hugging him tightly while Piccolo makes a technique called makankosappo after having recharged this technique he launches it towards Goku and Raditz through them and both die.

In the 2nd death he sacrificed himself. For his son Gohan was fighting against Cell, an enemy that had the abilities and ki of Goku, Piccolo, etc. In itself was a very formidable enemy, but the son of Goku had awakened his true strength to see how they were all beaten and almost killed by the sons of Cell, managing to kill them all, he faced Cell again, Gohan with so much power managed alone against him, Goku knowing that he could not beat Cell decided to sacrifice himself and teleport with Cell to another planet (Kaiosama's), thus killing him, Cell, Kaiosama, monkey (bubbles) and his firefly (Gregory).

The 3rd and final death was somewhat planned, as he hired Hit, an expert assassin from another universe. This one was given orders to kill Goku, to be brief he hit him in the heart so hard that he was stopped, but Goku is no fool, he threw a ball of ki into the sky. After his 2 sons Gohan and Goten accompanied by Mr. Piccolo, saw his body lying lifeless, Mr. Piccolo and if the impossible to revive him, but could not. When they thought he had died, a ball of ki appeared descending very fast from the sky. When it hit Goku's chest, it managed to revive him.

I know that most of the fans of this character are male, but in my case it happened because of my children, since they have watched this anime since they were little and since we only had one TV at home, well, I had no other choice but to watch it too, so with time I started to like the anime and its characters, but for me the one that stood out the most was Goku for his way of being, I also believe that this character is very recognized worldwide, despite being a series where what stands out the most are the battles, the episodes transmit values such as cooperation, union, courage, brotherhood and love; even when the character himself shows a rather grotesque aspect so to speak, he appears to be someone apathetic to any circumstance but he is not and I think that is where the hook of the series really lies.
