Mother's are not to be Toiled with; Happy Mother's Day-LOH Week #184

Good morning all I am responding to this week's theme, and I agree that this month is dedicated specifically for women, and surprisingly today happens to be mother's day here in Nigeria 😊.

Three questions were presented there but I will be answering to the last question which is number 3 it says thus:- ***What is your favourite memory of your mom? (Or someone that acted as that role in your life!)

Before I start I'd love to say that I am happy I am not writing this in tears, yeah I am happy that my mother is still alive.

I have had plenty or should I say numerous memories of my mom😊. That woman is a strong woman, I draw my strength from her most times , because sge dosent look like what she's been through. She is definitely a rare gem.

The beautiful memories I have shared with her and I am still sharing and will continue sharing with her are:-

1. Cooking with Her :-

Having to cook with her, I can remember the first time she allowed me cook after watching her food for the family fir number of years, she was watching me ba j to back, she would tell me out this now, oh! Don't put that now. Oh! the Maggi will be too much reduce it, that's not when to put the oil, oh! Okay put it now. As tiring as it could be I really enjoyed those moments.

2. Going to the Farm with Her :-

Farming wasn't really my thing but with time I got to love it a little because at least one is sure of food after the whole farming process ☺️.

Yeah you can be sure of fruits, tubers, vegetables etc.

The first time I went to farm, mosquito nearly finish me, so my mom advice that I use something long that can cover my body, so that I could be free from mosquito bite. She tagged me lazy, but over time I learnt from her that one must be fully girded fir farm work and also that farm work is supposed to be done early in the morning at Least from 6am-10 am or in the evening from 4pm-6pm, according to her your energy is still intact by these times.

3. Riding to school Together :-

Surprisingly my mom and I happen to teach in the same locality, so she would ride me on her bike to work before passing down to hers.

While on the bike we are sure to gist, laugh and reminisce on some old memories etc.

This moments are golden and I cherish each and every one of them.

I will forever be grateful that I was born by her.

The home training she gave to I and my siblings sticks with us forever.

Believe me when I say my mom is irreplaceable.
