Splinterlands Art Contest Week 256 - DRYBONE BARBARIAN FanArt

Hello to all the artists of this great community, today after some days off the platform I come with my entry for the weekly contest held by @splinterlands, this is another character that I wanted to redesign in my style with ink because it looks so badass, I wanted to draw him as if he was in the battlefield and took a hit really hard but withstand it like the warrior he is, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Hola a todos los artistas de esta gran comunidad, hoy después de algunos días fuera de la plataforma vengo con mi entrada para el concurso semanal que realiza @splinterlands, este es otro personaje que quise rediseñar a mi estilo con tinta porque se ve muy rudo. Quería dibujarlo como si estuviera en el campo de batalla y recibió un golpe muy fuerte pero aguanta como el guerrero que es, espero que les guste tanto como a mí.

boceto de la pose del personaje siendo empujado por un fuerte impacto, aqui fue donde decidi por esa postura. como en dibujos anteriores utilice un anillo para ayudar a mi camara a enfocar el dibujo ya que es bastante ligero el trazo del portaminas

Here you can see that I started with the design of the character with the mechanical pencil, it already has the face and part of the chest and an arm already sketched

ya aqui pueden ver que empece con el diseño del personaje con el portaminas, ya tiene la cara y parte del pecho y un brazo ya boceteado

Here we have ready the design of the body with its musculature, always trying to give the characters a proportional and a little more natural design, although this character is a kind of mythological minotaur, I did not want to make it so muscular.

ya aqui tenemos listo el diseño del cuerpo con su musculatura, tratando de darle siempre a los personajes un diseño proporcional y un poco mas natural, aunque este personaje sea una especie de minotauro mitologico, no quise hacerlo tan musculado.

Here we can see more details in his body as well as his hair that I gave movement to make the character's posture feel like he's really braking from an impact.

aqui podemos ver mas detalles en su cuerpo asi como su cabello al que le di movimiento para que la postura del personaje se sintiera como que realmente esta frenandose de un impacto.

here I started to add the ink layer doing the outline with a rapidograph.

aqui empece a añadir la capa de tinta haciendo el delineado con un rapidografo.

After the first layer of ink for the outline I start to make the shadows, normally I always start with the shadows that are bigger and lighter and then go on making the shadows that are darker and smaller until I really get to the small shadow details. dark and small, but this time I decided to do the opposite and started with the darkest shadows and then went to the biggest ones.

luego de la primera capa de tinta para el delineado empiezo a hacer las sombras, normalmente siempre empiezo con las sombras que son mas grandes y mas claras para luego ir haciendo las sombras que son mas oscuras y pequeñas hasta llegar a los pequeños detalles de sombra realmente oscura y pequeña, pero esta ves decidi hacer lo contrario y empece con las sombras mas oscura para ir luego a las mas grandes.

here we have the second layer of larger and lighter shadows to give it more three-dimensionality and it's almost finished.

aqui tenemos la segunda capa de sombras mas grandes y mas claras para darle mas tridimensionalidad y ya casi esta terminado.
