There is Still Room For Improvement on Hive

Having made a post about my likes for hive and having been recommended to make a separate post according to the rules of the prompt,I would be writing about the areas I feel hive should improve.

Don't get me wrong, the positives are numerous but of course change is constant and why not positive change?

Hive for what is worth is a great platform which not only offers value but has stood the test of time, however there are some irregularities which are somewhat confusing and to a newbie like me, an enigma which I can't seem to wrap my head around.

  1. Vote Quality; it's almost like an anthem that upvotes are not guaranteed but there are guidelines frequently stated in posts about how to enjoy massive upvotes on hive usually advising prioritizing quality engagement and quality posts as well as adhering to rules. But we all know that quality is a subjective idea especially when it relates to creativity.

  2. Selective blindness;
    At all times, there are variety of posts that one could write on, prompts are numerous, contests are countless and as such there are a lots of options to choose from. Each prompt or contest with rules and rewards stated.
    Then after deliberations and considerations, you settle for a particular prompt/community or front end, you make a post, carefully adhering to the rules but somehow your post is skipped or is under rewarded when compared to the stated prizes or fellow creators reward (whose work may have fallen within same quality range or even less)

  3. Feedback; oftentimes the post of a creative receives unusually high upvotes or is blatantly ignored. There is usually no known reason as to why he experienced the high upvotes or was ignored and as such, he can't exactly maintain the "luck" that helped him nor avoid the mistake that cost him.
    Same goes for downvotes. Certain times, I see posts that are downvoted and no reason was stated as to why it is so. There are only a few accounts that state the reason for their downvote. This does not only affect the individual directly involved as we are all learning from each others posts.

These are a few areas I feel could be improved upon to make hive even better than it already is.

This is my submission for the #juneinleo prompt day 11.

We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons
