Qurator's Photo Quest Competition! Sunrise!

Good morning beautiful people!
How is your first week of the year going?

My week was pretty wet! The whole of the Netherlands is wet! And many people are on alert! The dikes and rivers are monitored extra closely! This is done because the water is high in all the rivers! And that means extra stress for the dikes, which must therefore be closely monitored! And the Netherlands is a river delta were the rivers Maas, Rijn, Waal and the the IJssel all making their way to the North sea!

Water from Germany, Austria and Switzerland is flowing trough the Netherlands towards the North Sea! That is melting water from the mountain snow but lately a lot of rain water! lets hope the dikes will hold!

I am driving trough the country tomorrow to capture all the high water in the area! i am making a couple of stories about that when I am back! Hopefully I can make some nice pictures!

I captured some foggy sunrise pictures that are nice to enter! I try to give my photos a calm look, but that is sometimes a bit difficult! Especially because the forest is simply full! It is difficult to find an elegant composition because there is a lot happening there!

I am very curious what you think of this picture! Do you understand if I say it's a bit to busy in this frame? But still, I really like the sun ray's and the golden color on the green carpet of moss!
