Look at these beauty's.

Its a long time ago that I took these pictures but I still remember very well.
My first blue mushrooms that I ever saw.

We were walking in the Belgium Ardennes and along the trail, far in the dark forest I saw some anomalies. i had no clue what I saw but there was something there.

It was amazing to walk up to them and really see what it was.
They were so shine and colorful. An amazing experience to discover these in the dark forest of the Belgium Ardennes.

It was a very dark forest and I didn't have a tripod with me.

That is why the are not that sharp. I used F2,8 to ghet as much light in the camera as possible.

But the experience of discovering these beauty's was already a gift.

I tried photographing with a flash but than the colors and moody atmosphere was totally gone.
