The POBPhotocontest! Cars!
My first POB contest of 2024 is a throwback to the summer of 2023!
Volkswagen celebrated the 75th birthday of the VW bulli, or better known as the VW transporter van, in Hanover Germany and they did that by orghanising a VW van meeting!
From all over Europe, around 6000 van's, traveled to Germany to celebrate this together!
From the oldest registered Volkswagen van in the world, the T1 'Sofie' from 1950 ⬇️
Until the newest electric ID.Buzz ⬇️
These new van's look amazing, but I prefer the old ones!
And I really prefer old van's who look like new!
Like these two show models that were exhibit on the fair that was held during the event!
This color combination is sick! I love it!
In the world of car rally's and race's, Porsche and VW were a good team! Porsche needed a reliable van to accompany the team to all kind of race events and they choose VW! But they thought the VW van had one down side! It's speed! So they fixed 7 VW T3 transporter vans and turned them to racing machines by putting a 911 boxer motor in them! To bad I didn't see one on the fair! But this is why the owner of this blue and withe van is also a Porsche fan!
Lovely 23 windowed VW T1 Samba van! to bad that they put a sticker on it!
And now I have to choose the car photo that I am going to enter in the contest! I thought that I wanted to enter the oldest one to the competition, but I think I am entering the golden grey T1! I just love those colors so much! Witch car picture do you like the most? Shal I enter that one?
The proof of brain photo contest is organised by @friendlymoose Go give him a follow!
