Summer Time in the Fall?

The weather today in the Old North State (ie North Carolina), was actually rather balmy and by balmy I do not mean crazy although the weather is rather crazy as the temperature rose to a high of 85 degrees. And that is 85 degrees Fahrenheit or 29 degrees Celsius for those who reside in strange lands far beyond the borders of the USA which is quite warm.

A strange and crazy day as I went for a walk in the woods with the Mrs. @handofzara and the trees are showing their Fall colors and yet the thermometer kept on rising as if today was a July day and not an end of October day.

Given the fact that today felt more like a July day I decided to indulge in a #beersaturday beer from a place I visited and wrote about back in July.

About Last Beersaturday

So a sort of funny to me story, when I was there last July the bar had stickers that you could put on your own beer glass sitting out for FREE. Being an old "cheap bastard" as the Mrs. @handofzara is often wont to say, I prefer the term frugal, I took one. Funny to me because no one took the stickers, my God they are FREE, and yet everyone seemed too embarrassed to take one.

Of course being a veteran of embarrassment, I never pass up on FREE STUFF, being frugal and all, and not being an old "cheap bastard" despite the repeated slanderous statements of the lovely Mrs. @handofzara.

And tonight I created my very own Legion Brewery merch! Along with a throw back to July brew from the Legion Brewery replete with Summertime Mango flavors.

Weird, Summertime temperatures in the middle of the Fall Season. I probably should be drinking a Marzen on this the last #beersaturday of October but such is not the case tonight.

Is that some cool merch or what?

APPEARANCE: medium Amber, cloudy with a foamy head
AROMA: citrus
TASTE: mango, hops and bitters, moves from sweet to tart
MOUTHFEEL: medium body, carbonates weel and the hops linger

A perfect Summertime brew on this really weird hot October day.

What the heck have you been up to these days. Once upon a time on #beersaturday, there were only seven of us who participated each week.

Now, I realize that you have been working very hard here on the old HIVE blockchain but you do realize that with only seven or eight of us participating, I felt like a real WINNER almost every week.

Suddenly, and I am blaming you for this, we had 51 participants in #beersaturday!

My odds of winning went from a sure thing to near impossible!
