The Best Beer in the World!

Now do not get me wrong, I am enjoying this beer right now while I plunk away on #beersaturday but the answer is . . .

Exactly free and cold is the best beer in the world.

This weekend I am doing a little "dog sitting" for one of my children. And knowing that I would be staying overnight, provisions were made while I provided dog care for the weekend.

Good thing the dog is a NC State Wolf Pack fan, so choosing which game to watch was easy!

The game was great as the Wolf Pack tore the Demon Deacons a new one including a very rare two point DEFENSIVE CONVERSION!

You can watch football for decades and never see this play again. So here is the setup. Wake scored a touchdown which is 6 points and being down by upteen billion points with no hope of winning, still the Deacons went for two points.

You need to watch this!

NC State intercepted the two point conversion and ran the ball from one end zone to the other end zone a full 100 yards!

Now I have had this beer before back in July, and actually meant to share it on #beersaturday but some other beer showed up instead.

Fortunately I keep meticulous records and photos of all the beers I have enjoyed.

Look the beer garden has flowers and not a single fallen leaf in sight, clearly taken in the height of Summer.

BEER NAME: Perelbacher - Hefeweizen
STYLE: Wheat Beer
ABV: 5.5%
BREWER: Mystery Lidl Brewer located somewhere in Germany
APPEARANCE: deep amber, cloudy and pours with a healthy head
AROMA: malts, bread, clove and banana?
TASTE: bread and spicy semi-sweet
MOUTHFEEL: medium body, mild carbonation, the clove and banana flavor linger in the finish

Overall, while not the best beer in the World, a nice and delightful beer especially since it was cold and free.

Well not exactly free as I was and remain on dog duty and worked my butt off watching football, feeding the big guy and taking him for a walk during half time.

Now that I think about it I probably earned another free beer!
