Hello, This past weekend I came across this drawing that adorned the exterior wall of a house in the neighborhood of San Gabriel in the city of Alicante (Spain).

Hola. Este pasado fin de semana me encontré con este dibujo que adornaba la pared exterior de una vivienda del barrio de San Gabriel en la ciudad de Alicante (España).

It is a neighborhood of fishermen origin located by the sea.

Es un barrio de origen pescador situado junto al mar.

Although nowadays the neighborhood is surrounded by tall buildings, in its origins it was formed by houses of this style, one or two floors high at the most. There are still some houses of that style, which some owners decorate with drawings like this one. Few, to tell the truth.

Aunque actualmente el barrio se encuentra rodeado de edificios altos, en sus orígenes estaba formado por casas de este estilo, de una o dos plantas de altura como máximo. Todavía quedan algunas casas de ese estilo, a las que algunos propietarios adornan con dibujos como este. Pocos, la verdad.

As I didn't have time to see if there were more houses with murals, I took the photos of this one with the intention of walking around the neighborhood one day to see if there are any more. This drawing is in Rafael Escalona street, in the neighborhood of San Gabriel in Alicante

Como no tenía tiempo para ver si había más viviendas con murales, hice las fotos de este con la intención de pasear un día por el barrio para ver si hay alguna más. Este dibujo está en la calle Rafael Escalona, en el barrio de San Gabriel de Alicante
