Hi, greetings to everyone. A few months ago a friend told me that they had painted some new murals in an area of the city that I had not been to for a long time. It is a neighborhood whose origin is around 1906. At first it was a group of temporary self-built houses, made by fishermen from towns near Alicante and that emerged attached to the sea. Nowadays it is surrounded by newly constructed buildings of much greater height. This is the neighborhood of San Gabriel located on the outskirts of the city of Alicante (Spain).

I went for a walk with the intention of taking some pictures and eating a good seafood rice in a nearby restaurant that I had tried before. It was Sunday and it was a spectacular day, lots of sun and a pleasant temperature. The first thing I saw when I arrived at the place my friend had indicated was this tag made by Nosky in 2023. I have not found any information about the artist.

On the other side of the wall, which gets the morning sun, you can see a summer beach scene. A little girl is writing or drawing in her journal memories of the summer. There is no signature and I don't know who did this beautiful mural.

Hola, saludos a todo el mundo. Hace unos meses me comentó una amiga que habían pintado algunos murales nuevos en una zona de la ciudad a la que hacía tiempo que no iba. Es una barrio cuyo origen se sitúa en torno a 1906. En un principio se trataba de una agrupación de viviendas temporales de autoconstrucción, hechas por pescadores de localidades cercanas a Alicante y que surgieron pegadas al mar. Actualmente está rodadeado por edificios nueva construcción y de mucha más altura. Se trata del barrio de San Gabriel situado en las afueras de la ciudad de Alicante (España).

Fui dando un paseo con la intención de hacer algunas fotos y de paso comer un arroz de marisco en un restaurante cercano que ya había probado antes :). Era domingo e hizo un día espectacular, mucho sol y una temperatura agradable. Lo primero que vi al llegar al sitio que me había indicado mi amiga, fue esta firma hecha por Nosky en 2023. No he encontrado información sobre el o la artista.

En la otra cara del muro, a la que le da el sol de la mañana, se puede ver una escena veraniega de playa. Una niña está escribiendo o dibujando en su diario recuerdos del verano. No hay firma y no se quien hizo este bonito mural.

Beautiful selection of StreetArt especially the little girl writing. The part on the left reminds me of Sorolla with a reworked style. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
