Ladies of hive contest #158 The story of my life that cause me pain and Joy

Good day ladies of hive i am really greatful to write on this community. This week contest is great and is giving me the privilege to express what has happened to me in some years back. And i also want to appreciate @brittandjosie for this wonderful question this week. They say in this life every successful man or woman must have a story to tell is either good story or bad story.

Let me use this medium to share to you lady the story of my life is about what happened to me some years back. This story of my life happened in 2018 when i was preparing for my traditional marriage, during that period, things were very cheap in the market compare to now. So i prepared my traditional marriage in a very big way i travlled to the very big market in the state capital in Nigeria to make the purchase of the things i will be using for the marriage ceremony because i wanted the marriage to be the best in town , i invited so many guest leaving in a distance state and so many of my relatives and friends. We even pay for some things that will be use that day such as drinks, chairs, decorations, music, and different dancing groups for the occasion, we were all ready for the ceremony and just waiting for the date to come. And we know that in all that we do, we should allow God to come first. So while waiting for the date, we decided to go for prayers to ask God to take control of the occasion and so a prophecy came out that day, that we should cancel the marriage ceremony. Saying That the enemy has sent accident to us and after the marriage, on our way back home we will have an accident and non of us will survive it, that all will die. That was the prophecy then and they prayed and cancelled it, they man of God ask us to pray and fast and that nothing will happen I was like 😳 if this people know what they are talking about, a marriage that is just two weeks to come and they are saying what? So that period we engaged more on fasting and praying because we believe there is nothing God cannot do. And so we did all the fasting and prayers yet my husband family were afraid and decided to cancelled the ceremony i was so divert stated i felt as if the world has come to an end this happened that even on the date of the marriage ceremony, i never believe that nothing is going to happen that day as i cry my self out. But my husband family has to cancelled it just to be in a saffer side and they said that we will refixed the marriage ceremony when ever everything is cool and when they are ready.

My beautiful ladies, that was what happened to me but i am happy today to announce to you all that after one year of disappointment, my husband and his family refix the date but this time it was in a low cost so we all later travelld to my home town and did the marriage ceremony. Today is done and dusted i give God all the glory. All the clothes i bought were new because the other one was already outdated i have to purchase new set of jewelries bag and shoe even as the marriage was in a low cost, i am happy it came out the best and perfect. This is the story of my life and today i am happily married with two kids.
