POBphotocontest - 'CLOUDS' - Getting to experience flying for the first time!
Good morning Hive friends and happy Thursday!
My entry for this week's beautiful #POBphotocontest theme (Clouds) was taken using my mobile phone's camera, held in one shaky hand as my daughter (after making a very loud comment that had half the plane laughing at us. Awkward) napped on my lap on the flight back home from Ballito, Durban. It will forever be a wonderful and happy memory.
Before this, I had never flown before, and on the first flight, due to being in a seat where I had no view, I spent the entire flight drawing.
On the way back however, I got to sit right next to the window, which was definitely a completely different experience! I really enjoyed getting to be above the clouds even though in a few spots, they were so dense that I could not even see the wings of the plane.
This photo was taken the morning before the flight back, while having coffee and enjoying the sunrise over the ocean. I think I would have been happy staying there forever.
Bonus cloud photos from my archive, just because!
Well, that's it for today, time to get back to drawing, taking photos and everything else that makes life busy, colourful and interesting.
Till next time!

🤗Thank you! I was very lucky to get it. 😁
I love the black & white entry the clouds really punch out in it. Best of luck in the competition 😊
Thank you! Black and white photos are my favourite 😁 Have a great day!
Happy first flight. And what views😃. I do miss flying some days. Now that I am stuck at desk job 😄
😁Thanks! It was great. Hopefully you'll get to fly again someday soon. 🤞🏻
I respect people who are able to be stuck behind a desk all day, but can't manage it myself! Too hyperactive for that life🤣
Thx. I Should fly again but would be for holiday😀.I use to travel alot like 6 flights a month. The desk job is big adjustment. But I am home more often and getting use to it. 😃😁
