LOH #170: KEEPING EMOTIONS IN CHECK DURING DIFFICULT MOMENTS
Hello ladies of hive community,
it's the #170 edition of the weekly contest organized by the #ladiesofhive, prompts that provokes your inner thoughts and write your feelings. Just like this week we are to discuss how we deal with our emotions in check during difficult times.
What actions do you recommend to keep control in difficult moments?

One thing I have come to realize is that difficult moments come and go, they are never here to stay except you allow them. Hence in situations like this, one has to be careful in making decisions and in dealing with them so as not to make a lasting mistake.
My point here is that Making impulsive or rash decisions can include avoiding the problem which is not supposed to be so, or relying solely on temporary solutions can be counterproductive and achieve next 5o nothing when trying to maintain control in difficult moments. Hence, It's crucial to stay calm, assess the situation, and consider the potential consequences before taking any action. Also,it is said that a problem shared is a problem half solved,so Seeking input from trusted individuals or professionals can also help in making more informed decisions. These professionals could be people in that category that has ideas or experiences on what you are going through or even therapists.
One way or rather the first way I keep control in difficult moments is by maintaining a positive mindset can also be helpful in regaining control. This is the first thing that comes to mind before I seek the support of others, because apparently everyone is going through one thing or the other. So try to sort your problems out first and if it's beyond my control that's when I involve the support of others. By keeping a positive mindset I get to remind myself that challenges are temporary. So I don't dwell on them, but rather than have a negative mindset I keep up hope. This, engaging in activities that bring joy or relaxation can also contribute to maintaining a positive mindset during tough times.
Its always safe to resist from and Reframe negative thoughts into more positive perspectives. This is so because even when the difficult moments pass, some negative words uttered can act against you even after everything. When things get out of hand, seeking support from friends or family is always a go to strategy, those who can help in struggling times are always angels sent to our rescue.
I remember when a friend of going through a difficult time because her boyfriend of 5years called off the relationship, she was so devastated and you can see it in her physique, actions and everything. It is known that Navigating a challenging period in a relationship is very hard but she went on condemning almost every man that comes her way and advising ladies to avoid the gender and all sorts. But after a year , all that fade and she got back on track and found love again.
Carefulness is necessary in dealing with difficult moments, although everyone has their way of handling issues but in all for not do what you would regret in the future.

sometimes using our head is the key, noting that also in other situations we do still need to use our heart. So it depends on the situation. But even when using our heart we should keep our brain aware. From here we can get the self control
I like your approach when faced with difficulties or challenging times. Keeping a positive mindset and trying to solve the issue by yourself, then seeking help afterward. That allows you some self-reflection or evaluation which I believe gives you an idea of what course of action you can take. That's truly amazing.
