LOH #196: My favorite toys as a child

Looking back to when I was a child it feels all nostalgic, because I enjoyed the freedom the environment and all that was offered to me by my parents. No wonder they say adulthood is a scam because of the too much responsibilities attached to it, this is why I always advocate for parents to allow their children to live their lives as a child so when they grow into the different phases of Life such as adolescence, teens and in turn adulthood they would have good memories to reminisce about. Some people might find it funny, but as a child I loved learning and inquiring about new things, thats why my favorite toy was an electronic device that could read out a to z, 1 to 100 and teach you spellings in words.
I believe this kind of toy is a replica of what kids use in the modern world which is known as the kids educational learning tablet. My auntie got me that toy back then and I am sure one thing that fascinated us to it was the fact that a speaker from the toy was an American lady. Aside from running around playing with other kids in the compound, I would always use my toy to learn the alphabet. All that was just needed was a replacement of batteries.
Another game I enjoyed playing when I was younger was the brick game, where there was this small electronic device we would use to play by setting up bricks strategically on each other. We would play so hard to be able to increase our scores and beat the current winner. As a kid, it helped to enlighten the mind on how rules should be followed in order to achieved a desired goal. The block based games requires that the plays sets the brick on each other using common sense , or else you would end up ruining the whole thing.
Finally, there is the teddy bear which every girl love to have at that time. Although I never had those very big ones but I had a medium sized pink teddy bear which I used to play around the house. As kids there are many toys available to exercise the brain and mental ability of a child. In our present contemporary world, children as low as the age of 10 years can confidently play the game of chess and Excel at it. So not all games are meant for just playing others serve the purpose of educational learning.

I also had stuffed animals and slept with them around my bed, they helped me feel safe at night.
