LOVE AND MONEY IS A NECESSITY IN MARRIAGE

This prompt as projected by the #hiveghana community is a really trickish one which I am not going to fall for but I would rather give my subjective opinion on how I would like it to go for me. This is so because it is necessary to Strike a balance that aligns with personal values is often ideal. In our contemporary world there is no love with money and vice versa, except you just want to deceive yourself.

Love without money could be something that existed in the 0ast with our forefathers when things were not really in the high side, when education was not as expensive as it is now. Looking back, remember when I still paid twenty five thousand naira for my tuition fees per session of 4years,calculating all fees except handouts, department fees, faculty fees and all, my total fee were not more than a hundred and fifty thousand naira. But in recent times, students pay all of that in just one session. This to say that the cost of training a child in school requires more than just love and affection but also money to give that child a good education that you as a parent would be proud of.

Don't get me wrong, Love is crucial in a marriage as it forms the emotional foundation, that brings about deep connection, understanding, and support that partners provide each other. It also involves emotional intimacy, trust, and the ability to share feelings, thoughts, and experiences between both partners. Also,love helps to foster connection, understanding, and support between partners, a necessity that is important for a good relationship to succeed through difficult moments. Love also provides a sense of companionship and helps navigate challenges together.

Just as love is essential, Money is also essential for practical reasons, ensuring the financial stability of the household in terms of foodstuffs, electricity bills, water, clothes, fees and so on. Considering the fact that baby food is very expensive now. It also allows for a comfortable living, access to resources, and the ability to meet basic needs. Open communication about finances is important to avoid conflicts and build a secure future together.

The point of view Is that a balance of love and financial stability contributes to a well-rounded and sustainable relationship or marriage. It is important to address both emotional and practical aspects of life. This is why I said I would interpret it from my subjective point of view, while some people are of the opinion of love is all that is need for a marriage to thrive, others believe that it is money because when there is money, every other thing fall in place. But for me, I believe that a fission of the two is necessary to survive and sustain a marriage.
