THE MAJOR EXPERIENCES THAT OCCURED IN THE YEAR 2023

It's the last day of the year 2023🎄🎄

Do not confuse this with my last post and that one has to do with my highlights on hive blockchain in 2023,but this one is focused on my major achievement ls both offline and online in the real world. For everyone, especially those in my country, it's been a roller-coaster of a year especially financially, a lot of inflation and economic issues and recession were rampant that it somewhat became difficult to achieve some set goal and accomplish what was needed to be accomplished. Due to financial strains a lot of businesses collapsed, people gave up and people strived. But in all we are grateful.

So some of my major highlights in 2023 would be...

One of the major highlights I experienced in 2023 would be the situation and occurrences surrounding the presidengial elections in my country which happened around February 25,although there were minimal challenges on that day but prior decisions surrounding the event was not favorable. We as Nigerians had to suffer to get monies due to the imposition of new naira notes and scarce money from banks, we had to pay heavily to get funds. After the election and swearing in of the elected presidential, things literally took a turn to worse as inflation was on the rise, education became expensive both home and abroad, the price of fuel tripled making it difficult for workers to transport themselves, the price of gasoline skyrocketed, mobile devices doubled in price as well and so on. It was definitely an highlight to remember.

Another highlight for the year 2023 would be my active participation in the hive blockchain. I started the year with set goals and aspirations of what i would love to have achieved by the end of the year, and I am glad that I achieved them and even surpassed them. For instance, I set goals to achieve a thousand hive power, to achieve over two thousand Leo power and have a reasonable amount of hbd saved in my wallet. So far so good all these have been achieved and I hope to set an achievable goal for the coming year 2024. Hive has been a both a blessing and a source of growth to my career and my financial growth. When I set my mind to it, I earn a monthly salary by been consistent and active on the platform. The many contest and rewards earned on the platform were inspiring.

One of the best highlights in 2023 was the part where I won a whooping 100hbd for participating in a contest. Honestly, I know I did my very best but I wasn't even expecting to win, I was surprised and excited because that price came at a point when it was needed the most. This is why I like to take opportunity of every activity on hive.

This year, I bought a mobile device, powerbank sand some other gadgets that were necessary to keep going in a smooth possible way, the powerbank was meant to be a source of power supply in case electricity goes off as it is a common case in Nigeria. I also needed an upgrade in my mobile device, one that would accommodate more space storage, current android version and one that is fast, durable and long lasting battery.

In all, I am grateful for the gift of life in the year 2023 because without that it would not have been possible to recount all these highlights. It has been a year of learning and unlearning, a year to try out new stuff and keep it running. So far so good, it wasn't a totally wonderful experience but it was all worth it at the end.
