HOW TO IMPROVE EVERYDAY

HAVE THERE EVER BEEN SUCCESS MEASURED WITHOUT IMPROVEMENT OR PREPARATIONS FOR.

As we all know that the phase we are currently tends to be built on self improvement which pave way for the future. While i was almost rounding up this piece, i was opportuned to listen to a reel on FB where a great man said and i quote "Most of us are preparing for a great future which is being successful but the future might eventually cease to come - why? What we are expecting or waiting for is a mirage except you make it happen in the process/present". This took me back to my almost finished blog making me add this master pieces which is so valuable making reference to SELF IMPROVEMENT

According to a great man - John C. Maxwell

When you cease to be better you cease to be good. When you stop to grow you cease to be useful.

The part from ordinary to extraordinary is continual development.


What you are prepared for is what you tend to achieve - the future you make happen for yourself

Life goals are reached by setting annual goals, annual goals are reached by setting daily goals and daily goals are reached by doing uncomfortable things first which eventually becomes an habit - habits are powerful things. Habit turns action into attitude and attitude into lifestyle.

Improvement insights

  • Don't be afraid to admit you're wrong. Cause it proves you're wiser today than yesterday.
  • You'll never change your life until you change something daily.
  • You cannot manage what you cannot measure.
  • Set realistic expectation for your improvement. Continual change is essential for continual improvement
  • Motivation gets you started, habit gets you going
  • We overestimate what we can do in a month and underestimate what we can do in a year.
  • Focus:

William James " if you will be rich you will be rich and if you will be good you will be good, if you will be learnard you will be learnard but wish for one thing exclusively and don't wish for immediate hundred of incompatible things.

  • Spend 80% of your time working on your strength. Don't work on your cause it might not give abundant results. ( Don't stay committed to your weakness) instead focus on your strength.

There are 2 weak areas that will hurt you and work on

  1. Self discipline. 2. Attitude
  • Is what you're doing today getting me to my goal tomorrow.
    If you wish to grow you want to grow in every area of your life. " You don't want to go into something, you want to grow into something"

What Maxwell was majorly talking about to my understanding is that as a leader we should keep to personal improvement and growth.

We should be intentional about our growth and take measure of every progress. Consistency compounds.

The part from ordinary to extraordinary is continual development i.e consistently developing.

Get motivated and cultivate the habit. " Motivation gets you started and habit gets you going.

Don't cease to be good, don't cease to grow and particularly don't cease to be useful.
