Merry Christmas to all
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Merry, Merry Christmas, creative community, all artists, and everyone here in Hive world.! This is my second entry for the monthly Christmas decoration contest. I'm currently in India, living in a small town where it's quite difficult to find craft materials.
While I was out shopping for Christmas, I tried to gather some supplies to create something nice for the community. I ended up making a simple yet beautiful craft: Christmas bells. I would like to share it with you all!
It is simple and very attractive, made from material that you can easily find.
MATERIAL i USED:
1 Red glitter foam
1 golden glitter foam
glue gun
thin wire
measuring stick
scissors
compass
small scissors
golden tape
golden lace
golden string
golden plastic berries
silver leaves.
colored glitter
plastic flower
some silver stars
normal glue
to make clapper
glue
thin wire
molding clay
red cloth
glitter powder
sewing thread
Some old glass bangles
golden tape
Drew a 20 cm circle on the red glitter foam marking the center of the circle
Cut the circle.
cut the circle into two halves through the center point
Holding the center point made 2 cones out of the 2 semicircles
Glued the edges of each using a glue gun.
Cut 2 cm strips of the golden foam.
glued the golden strip on the rim of the cone.
here I have two cones that shall become bells.
Now making the clappers. I used molding clay wrapped in red cloth and tightly tied using sewing thread. these are the balls of the clappers
i spread glue on the cloth and dipped them in glitter powder.
tied those using thin wire and kept them aside.
fixed golden lace around the bottom.
and some golden string up to the top.
and fixed some stars on the bell body.
made a small top section of the bell with golden foam.
inserted the clapper wire inside the bell and fixed golden foam around it.
wrapped golden tape around the glass bangles to form a golden ring.
to fasten the ring to the bell I threaded the clapper wire through the top of the bell and then through the hole in the bead and wrapped the remaining wire around the ring
Those bells were attached to the ring. to conceal the wire on the ring I just wrapped a small piece of the golden tape around it.
Using the glue gun I fixed a flower, a few leaves and berries to the ring where the bell is attached.
And finally, the bells are ready to ring, no I mean hang.
Thank you very much for stopping by. Happy holidays.
very festive bells. where do you get all these ideas to make stuff?
