Water day the madel for rainwater storage.
Water is the most essential resource for life on Earth. Every living being, from humans to animals and plants, depends on water for survival. Without water, life would not exist. It plays a crucial role in our daily activities, such as drinking, cooking, farming, and industrial processes.
However, we often misuse our limited water resources. Issues such as pollution, urban development, and the use of chemicals in agriculture contribute to water shortages. In many areas, people lack access to clean drinking water.
There are several ways we can conserve water and manage its use responsibly. We can reduce overconsumption for personal needs, minimize pollution, support organic farming, decrease our intake of animal products, and harvest rainwater.
Hello, community! I want to share my thoughts on the significance of water. It's not easy to express how important it is, but I believe that creating a craft or writing an article can help convey our ideas about this topic.
I've been thinking about this subject for the past three weeks and wanted my entry to be thoughtful and serious for the theme announced on March 1 for this month's contest. Today, I've decided to share my understanding of water, although I still feel it may not be sufficient.
Here is my model for rainwater harvesting and storage, which I believe is essential for many of us who experience significant rainfall during the monsoon, summer, or autumn seasons.
Collection of rainwater tank on the roof of house. Rain clauds
Water comes into the filtering tank from the collection tank.
filtering tank
Storage tank for drinking water.
Material I used
1 cardborad pakage box
1 food package waste tray.
2 plastic box I took from the recycle storage.
white paper from reclycle pile.
Glue gun
Glue
scissors
scale
white and black color
transparent small pipe We use it in construction work as a leveling tool.
Later on, I found 1 piece of pipe in the pipes pile.
water colors
eyepads
charcol
sand
small pebbles
big pebbles
4A brown paper
bushes and green leaves from garden
we have lots of recycle material after constuction work.
I pick one white paper from that pile and saved big bundle for several uses.
The cardboard box was my computer wire package.
I cut them in appropriate sizes and shapes to make a house structure.
1 piece 30x30 cm
2 pieces 18x14 cm
2 pieces 17x12 cm
2 pieces 13x11 cm
used white paper for wrap them and made walls and floor, roof of house.
The basic piece is 30x30 cm.
On 1 piece, I draw a windows and door using water color.
Put all cardboard pieces together to make a house structure.
After finished house structure
I cut the terrace using leftover pieces of cardboard.
Painted them in white watercolor.
I tried placing a tray as a symbol of rainwater collecting water tank.
I made holes in a black tray(it would be much better with a white tray, but I don't have one). I'll use black.
I wanted some cylindrical stand. I found the cut piece of pipe.
Cardboard in cloud shape. And painted by white and black color.
Here, I put all the pieces together before assemble.
On the clouds, I made a few water drops using the glue gun.
In the rainwater filtering tank, in the bottom, I put a few eyepads as a symbol of macro fibers.
Crushed some charcoal, like active charcol
Put that layer on the macro fibers.
Then sand
small pebbles
Big pebbles on the top.
made some greenery around the house using garden bushes, leaves, and pubbles..
The model is ready just needs to be checked it with water.
Thank you.
