We hope everyone that celebrates Christmas had a fun and relaxing Christmas!

The holidays are over for most of us, so it is back to the grind we go!

Normally we would be announcing 4 authors for you to choose from and vote for one of them!

However, you may have noticed that the polls in INLEO.io are still not working.

The HIVE ecosystem is having issues with nodes and connecting to other public infrastructure.

So regrettably, we shall relay this message from the wonderful team at Inleo...

Hi everyone! @Leo Frens Happy New Year!

Thank you very much for this year of support of this initiative, and those that keep it up even when the polls were not an option.

For this start of the year, we are pausing this initiative, for a few reasons:

It will not re-start until the polls are back working
We have to evaluate the results from last year, in terms of engagement and growth, to see how to proceed this 2024.

When and how the initiative will be continued will be announced once polls are back and the new strategy is formed.

Because of the Node issues the polls function was not working and so you have all been set as 15% beneficiary of this post for your author nomination.

We would like to thank the Inleo team for organising the Weekly Polls and all that they are doing to not only enhance the Hiving experience for many Hivians, but also trying to bring as many new Hivians to Hive as possible.

Whilst the Author of The Week is paused until further notice, that should not discourage you from writing and posting in our Silver Bloggers community.

It is a New Year and we shall shortly be bringing you our first #silverprompt or #bom...
