In the 7th edition of our art contest we received 35 submissions from 13 talented authors. Thank you to all the artists who shared their incredible work with us this week! 🎨✨

Posts added after 6:00 PM Warsaw time (5:00 PM UTC) on Sunday will be included in the next edition of the contest.

Remember, this is a weekly contest, which means we’re already opening the next round! You can submit new artworks by publishing them with the tag #hiveartgallery and including at least two photos.

You have three votes to distribute:

  • 3 points for your favorite artwork,

  • 2 points for your second choice,

  • 1 point for your third choice.

Please be precise when indicating how many points you are awarding to a given participant. Some votes are unclear, and it's difficult to guess whether the numbers 1, 2, and 3 represent the ranking position or the points. :)

Don't forget to include the author’s name and the title of the post, the number or the link to the post in your comment. In case of imprecise information, the vote will be assigned to the first submission of the participant.

Reminder of the voting rules:

  1. Voting Details:
    You can vote for three posts, assigning points as follows:

    • 3 points for your favorite artwork,

    • 2 points for your second choice,

    • 1 point for your third choice.

  2. Voting Deadline:
    Voting is open until Sunday, April 13th, 18:00 Warsaw time (17:00 UTC).

  3. Multiple Submissions by an Artist:
    If an artist submits multiple posts and a voter does not specify which post they are voting for, the points will be assigned to the first submitted post.

  4. Voting for Your Own Submissions:
    Participants cannot vote for their own submissions, but they will receive an extra 3 points for taking part in the voting. If a participant submits multiple posts, the bonus points will be added to the submission with the highest number of points. In case of a tie, the points will be assigned to his first published post.

  5. Winners:
    The posts with the highest number of points will be declared the winners.

  6. Results Announcement:
    On Sunday evening, we will publish a post announcing the "Hive Art Gallery Best" along with two honorable mentions.

  7. Prizes:
    The winners will receive a share of the earnings from the results announcement post. The distribution will be as follows:

    • 🥇 1st place – 20% of the post’s earnings,

    • 🥈🥉 2nd and 3rd place – 15% each.
      If there is a tie, the 50% prize pool will be adjusted accordingly to fairly distribute the rewards among the winners.

  8. Publication of Winning Artworks:
    We reserve the right to publish the winning artworks on the Hive in the summary post, as well as on Hive Art Gallery’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.

Happy to announce that @gifu has donated 50k of swap.gifu for the constest rewards. You can read more on benefits of holding GIFU here. GIFU token is out of Hive meme token built on top of the Binance Smart Chain. It will grow to a custom built platform to incentivise giphy artists to create custom gifs for projects. You can earn swap.gifu by delegating your HP to @gifufaithful for 10% APR.

1st place was easy to pick for me, at the beginning i thought it would be easy & won't take much time- but then it was too difficult & takes much time to choose from many good works that i even thought of leaving 2nd & 3rd place empty! but i finally chose.
-1st place/ 3 points for "Back to drawing PL/ENG" by @patipats .
-2nd place/ 2 points for @vragolana "i'm not sure which artwork to choose so i'll leave this way".
-3rd place/ 1 point for "[esp-eng] No sé que estoy haciendo pero luzco genial haciendo - I don't know what I'm doing but I look great doing it" by @sarau .
-if it was a top 10 list @silviabeneforti @nave7 @willowink @kawa-i-kredki @ezunjoshy @tezzmax @idyharrison would definitely be in the list.
-next time i'll also join with my next drawing "last time i removed the tag because i wasn't sure if it was good enough! that wasn't wise!".
