My Friends My Pride// LOH Contest #192
Hi ladies, it's nice to be here with you this new month and the second half of the year. Shout-out to @merit-ahama for the wonderful topics for this week. I will be considering the first topic on friendship.
There is a friend who seems to be closer than even our brethren, a times there are things we may not be able to share with family but because of the level of trust and how free we are with our close friend we tend to confine on them, this is the reason why it hurts so much when betrayed by that same friend.
I value my friends so much to the point that I can go as far as inconveniencing myself to make sure my good friends are fine. I'm not so much given to making new friends because am somehow a reserved person. Now, not that I can't flow with people at first when we meet but I don't easily admit that one is my friend. Before I could say that someone is my friend I put somethings into consideration, first do we have anything in common because I don't appreciate wasting my time as there are lots of things on my table. I strongly believe that birds of the same feathers move together.
As my Mom alway tell us, "if a friend don't deceive you no one can". This saying from my Mom got into my mind so much that I am so reserve about who and who I call my own.
