Buwan ng Wika is my least favourite school event because girls get to wear Filipiniana. I hate the outfit, but I'm glad it's not required. I'd be dressing in a barong if it were! Hahaha! Joke aside I only remember watching people perform on stage to whatever Filipino thing they were doing...

Ang karanasan kong hindi ko malilimutan noong ako ay nasa high school pa lamang ay ang pagkanta ng mga makabansang awit. Kaya sa panapos na programa ng buwan ng wika sa aming paaralan, ay aming binigyan ng halaga ang mga ito sa pamamagitan ng patimpalak sa solong pag awit...

Ever since elementary grades up till High School, the Buwan ng Wika was strictly observed in the schools that I attended, I think one of the most memorable experiences that I had in Buwan ng Wika was when I was in Grade 8 in High School, I've never been active in participating in events such as wearing of traditional clothes like Filipiniana but then I can still vividly remember how hectic it was since the school made it mandatory to wear one...
