MY ANTICIPATION FOR THE YEAR 2024

Helloooo there 🥰, this is my first time participating in the #neoxianprompts and I'm super delighted about it. I'm hoping earnestly that I get your attention as I share my response to this week's prompt which says...

What are you looking forward to (or not looking forward to) this year?

Every year, most of us if not all of us look forward to something we either wish to achieve or we wish to let go and of course I'm not exempted, hehe. In fact, I always look forward to a new year because I know it gives me another opportunity to set goals and also wright some wrongs. But that doesn't mean I give up on achieving any of my goals with the hopes of a coming year, no, I always make sure to keep pushing until the very end.

My goals for this year is quite simple but does requires a lot from me both physically, psychologically, emotionally, mentally and more. This year I'm looking forward to gaining admission to the university as a physiologist. I've been having quite a challenge getting into the university but then I'm sincerely hoping and praying that this year I get my admission and start moving forward to the next phase of my life.

I've had my moments when I feel so sad for not being able to get into the university but then I never let that weigh me down, I just kept trying harder every time hoping to get what I want. You know how hard it can be when you keep failing at a particular thing for more than just once, trust me it's not a good feeling but then I took that as a motivation to strive even harder and harder.

My admission is still in progress and now I'm just making deliberate efforts towards saving up for schooling expenses because I'm confident that no matter how long it takes, I'm definitely going to go to the university. I know I'm even learning better than so many others who are already in the University but then having an official educational certificate is what I'm looking forward to and I wish I could get it as soon as possible but I guess God has his own plans for me which I know is the best for me.

The fact that I've always struggled with my education was part of the reasons why gaining admission has been a big deal for me. I find it so hard to understand things quickly when it comes to my academics but then I don't want to give myself that silly excuse anymore, I believe I'm going to do well in whatever I put my mind to so all I need to do is put in more effort until everything works out well for me.

✨ I'm looking forward to staying positive and optimistic this year no matter whatever outcome I get.

✨ I'm looking forward to caring more for myself and making myself a priority this year but that doesn't mean I'm ruling others out, I'm only doing this so I can care better for others.

✨ I'm looking forward to my favorite sister by heart getting married soon. Her marriage is coming up in few weeks time and I'm super happy for her.

✨ And lastly I'm looking forward to seeing a better version of myself every single day of this year.
