SAVORING SUCCESS

Oh how sweet it is when we accomplish a task! After a job well done, celebrating is not only a well-deserved reward but also a necessary step to acknowledge your hard work and dedication. Whether it's a personal achievement or a team effort, taking time to revel in your accomplishment is just essential to boost motivation, reactivate positive habits, and create more lasting memories.

There are some things that I always try to do whenever I have achieved something, whether big or small. For me, I treat myself to something nice! I will buy myself something I’ve been craving, whether it's a dessert, a favorite meal, or just a day for getting a good rest. I just try to spoil and enjoy the fruit of what I’ve worked for, hehe. Of course, sharing such achievements is also one way I get to reward myself. I Celebrate with family, friends, or colleagues who have supported me along the way by sharing my achievement with them and express gratitude for their encouragement and belief they had in me.

After every achievement, I try to reflect on your journey, by acknowledging the challenges I had to overcome and of course the lessons I got to learn. I also try to evaluate what worked well for me that helped me achieve my goal and what didn't, thereby using that insight to improve on my future endeavors. By so doing, I get to create a new memory which I can remember to serve as a motivator and inspiration for future goals.

After achieving something, I always take some time to relax and recharge. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle and engaging in activities that bring me joy, peace of mind, and also prioritizing my self-care. And by so doing, I get the strength to set new goals and a well set out plan on how to achieve them. There after I can also get to seek inspiration from people, books, or quotes. I just try to find out new sources of motivation to keep me going forward.

Life is all about give and take, after achieving something good, it is not a bad idea to give back no matter how little. The fact that I was able to achieve something wasn’t by my own ability, there were thousands of people who made it possible so helping someone else achieve their goals or sharing tips with them is one way I celebrate my win. There is this extra feeling of accomplishment when you know you are part of the reasons why someone was also able to accomplish something.

Success is not solely about the destination but also the journey. Acknowledging my growth, learning, and the resilience that have brought me to that particular moment is definitely something I also do to celebrate my success.

Finally, for me, celebrating a job well done is essential because it helps me recognize the hard work and dedication I’ve put it. So it’s definitely worth treating myself out, sharing it with those I love, reflecting on my journey, and setting new goals.

This is my response to the ladies of hive topic for this week.

In my case, I have to do nothing like giving treats to myself because I feel it's a waste of money. I would love to go on an adventure using the same money that is supposed to be spent on food. Adventure gives me the maximum satisfaction and I always go for it.

Good for you then ☺️. As long as it’s the way you reward yourself for something you achieved then it’s all good

Enjoyment 🥵,

Life is all about give and take, after achieving something good,

Yes oo, i agree to this.

For me, I treat myself to something nice! I will buy myself something I’ve been craving, whether it's a dessert, a favorite meal, or just a day for getting a good rest.

We get to live once, and learn to celebrate every small wins. I also do this too,

You’re so right in every way
I didn’t even pay attention to something happening until I read this.
I think I need to celebrate the good things I’ve done then maybe I’ll finally feel encouraged to continue because I’ve been off for a while

Before achieving something great, I sit myself down and have some kind of discussion with myself. I make an agreement with myself that if I manage to achieve what I set out to achieve I would buy myself something I have been craving for awhile. This attitude has encouraged me to always stay motivated whenever I decide to achieve an objective.
