My Favorite Character || Kurosaki Ichigo

Hello everyone. I'm happy to be able to join this contest once again. I've not given it so much thought about my favorite character of all time in a while, I've been someone that only has a favorite character for every movie I've watched, but not thought of an overall favorite at all. But when I saw this contest, I gave it a good thought and came up with one.

My favorite character is

Kurosaki Ichigo

As you know, bleach is one of those legendary anime and the characters in bleach were one of the most powerful characters in the world of anime, some who can battle the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. I think I said it before that I started anime not too long ago (in 2020) and I know a good deal of anime as of now. I started bleach around 2021, when I was in Year 3 in my university (300 Level). Seeing this character fights and roles was one of the most amazing feeling I've ever had. I enjoyed this character's vibe as well.

If you ask me, there are lots of reasons why I chose this character as my favorite which I will explain vividly, but the main reason why I chose him was because of his brilliant background story and his desire to protect people around him. There are many more also, I'll state them accordingly.

Kurosaki Ichigo character development was one of the most interesting and most well planned development I've ever seen in the world of anime. It's the development that has one of the most proper setups. From a young teenager boy who doesn't know anything other than school, work and friends to someone who knows a lot about the world and saves the whole world from all kinds of attacks. His story is well explained, and his gradual progress makes me like him very much.

Before the encounters with the soul society, Ichigo's world centers around his family consisting of his father and his two siblings, his classmates and his dear friends. As someone with a depressing background with which his mom dies in his arms, he is someone that wishes to protect anything and everybody around him (Including Kon 😅😅). So he's someone that doesn't let anything happen to anybody connected or attached to him.

To add to my point, do you remember during the fought against Ulquiorra?. It's arguably one of the greatest fights in bleach, remember when he failed against him the second time and fell, the desire which unleashed more of his powers during at that fight was his desire to protect his dear friend. I felt the impact then, and it was engraved deeply in my heart. It was sensational.

Another reason why I loved this character more than other characters was his powers and his forms. I know, you may say that I may have not watched this anime or that anime, but this is something I just cannot easily shake off my mind.

We all know that in Bleach, there are different species of people, we have the Soul reapers, Quinces, hollows and full bringers. He felt all of these powers, The story behind his parents being a Quincy and Soul reapers are interesting, and him being a hollow is also fascinating. Remember that there are different forms of hollow, and for someone like him to feel every of those hollow powers deepens the likeness I have for this character. Even if it was for a short scene and I didn't get to see it for much longer, I felt the power of the Vasto Lorde which he used to take down Ulquiorra. There was also a time when he has a power of being a full bringer. So for a character to feel each and every of those interesting powers made him my main character.

There are still a lot of qualities I liked about him like his sense of justice towards everything, his coolness, his jovial ability and his intense and amazing battles makes the anime interesting and most especially made bleach standout. Imagine seeing other people fighting, but waiting for Ichigo to join the fight. He has a lot of heroic moments.

So these are the reasons why I considered this character "Kurosaki Ichigo" to be my favorite.
