Light to hive with hive Meetup. The first meetup for me

Hive!! This meetup has happened before i got to find out about this community, i was actually wondering what i will be doing with my pictures as i popped into this community as a first timer. The first time i heard of this, i asked what kind of social networking business is this? Then i was told is a blockchain with so many communities where one can express the abilities he or she have through writing, singing or any other thing within ones power.

Do i need down liners to succeed in this blockchain? He said No. Months went by and i didn't join, years i still couldn't join because of the fear of the unknown. Social networking really dealt with people and this instilled fear on almost all.

Years later i joined, i was encouraged and told to be consistent and patient for that's the only way i can grow and succeed in this platform. I push myself with the zeal of a newbie and months after i was down hearted and couldn't push further.

Few months later after i rekindled myself, a hive meetup, the first ever of such experience was scheduled to hold. I have only heard such things in history from people who left steemit to join hive. As for me, i haven't heard or joined any blockain if not for this Hive. So i had a expectations of what this would look like and how it would be of help to newbies. Of which i was one, i have been months old on this platform yet had little or no knowledge of what it's all about.

The meetup had reps from cities of Uyo and Lagos, the cat was let out the bag with each one of them talking about their starts, challenges and how the conquered. Giving room for questions a lot of it came like, how to know a topic to post in a particular community, the rules guiding that particular community. They gave a detailed answer.

My hive meetup for the first time, it was an amazing experience. With the opportunity of making and dishing the item seven as it was given to me.

Mere looking at those smiling faces it is a guarantee that something was actually achieved at this meetup and more we want to achieve.

I know sooner or later another meetup will be coming, it's gonna be an awesome moment for both old and new members, believing good ideas would be shared i wouldn't want to miss this meetup if eventually it holds within few weeks so am doing all that's necessary to make sure that i answer the roll call
