"Hygiene Habits & Health: From Clean Spaces to Soda-Free Living"

Source

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog once again. So today's Marchininleo prompt is interesting and also going to be an educative process as more users will share their opinions on the topic of today. Growing up, I have also been self-conscious about my hygiene, including how my surroundings are kept. It is something I picked up at an early age, and it has grown with me over the years.

In my home, I am known to be strict when it comes to keeping the house and surroundings clean and I constantly emphasise how the house should be arranged if the individual assigned to do a chore fails to do it to my standard I most times take matters into my hands and properly do it the way I want it to be and it has caused a little fuss between me and my younger ones because of the way I instruct them to do the things that needed to be done in the right way.

The habit followed me into the university, and down here, I shared a room with someone. The difference here and my home is that I keep my corner of the room clean and although I find myself doing the chores in the room alone on some occasions I am trying to pull back so it won't be a regular thing because I have noticed my roommate feels relax at times and knows I will do some chores in the room without his help, but that has started to change now.

It has already occurred to him that if he decides to relax then I will do the same thing as well because I believe as we share the same space we both have an equal stake in the room and we are not children that need directions before doing what you meant to do at the appropriate time. Hopefully, by next year, I will get a place for myself without having a roommate, so I can get my space and keep it clean always.

These days people don't mind and watch what they put into their stomachs. The high level of people reaching obesity is on the high side, and even with warnings from medical associations and doctors yet it's still not changing, we even have some people celebrating being obese which is strange. Nobody needs to tell you how obesity is a sickness and not something to be proud of.

Watching what I eat is very important for my health, and I have seen results. Currently, I have stopped taking in soda because of the sugar quantity used in producing them. I would rather get yoghurt, and if I don't have enough to get yoghurt, I stick to drinking water and a lot of it each day, which is good for my body system. I have also advised people around me to stop taking in soda, and they are following my advice.

It hit me when the lady selling soda said she doesn't take it and that it's poisoned and I was shocked because you know it's bad but still choose to sell it anyway, we are our own demons sometimes which is kind of sad, anyways if you are reading this post please do your best to stop taking soda. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
