Engkanto Brewery - High Hive Honey Ale 🍻|| The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 379

T.G.I.SaturYAY 🎉 Aside from being the end of the week, it's also the end of my work week. That means my brief day off begins tonight. 🙌 It's been a long while since I've enjoyed any specialty beers.

Last Sunday, I ordered a 4-pack specialty beer from Engkanto Brewery via the online shopping platform I use. This is a local based brewery that's based in Carmona, Cavite. Back when my daughter was still in Manila, we got the chance to try some of their then specialty beers. My daughter's been in Barcelona since December last year, so I will be enjoying the beers by myself. 😅 It actually took a while before I got my online orders -- just received it yesterday (Friday). Here I was unboxing the package.

They have many flavors but what caught my eyes was the word HIVE so I decided to order and try this variety. As you see on the label, the flavor is floral and sweet. Alcohol vol: 5.1%. Wow! I hope I can still hold my beer. 😂

Here I've been admiring the beer bottle and the label before I unpacked the four beers to place them in the fridge. I waited a day before enjoying one tonight.

Look at those lovely bottle caps. 😍 I suddenly get the urge to collect them all. 🤣 Engkanto Brewery is also an award winning company. The label says they have a silver medal from the Brussels Beer Challenge 2022. 👏

Happy Oktoberfest 🍻 Unfortunately, due to my mobility issue, I don't get out much anymore. My solution is to bring the adventures to me -- from the comforts of home. 🤣 This is my first beer adventure by myself. 😉 It's perfect as my weekend begins tonight.

The beer is so good, not at all bitter. I believe that it leaves me with such a positive experience that I will surely try their other products. Hopefully, I will have more #beerSaturday entries soon. (I just need to put up with the delays in delivery. 😅 But it's worth it.)
