Kittens Macrame Bracelet
Greetings to all craft and cat lovers, I consider myself a catlover so the theme of the DIYHub Community Contest of the month has me very motivated, last week I shared with you a cat pendant necklace, so On this second occasion I am sharing a bracelet made using the macramé technique with the figures of three cute kittens, I hope you like it. Saludos a todos los amantes de las manualidades y de los gatos, yo me considero una catlover así que el tema del Concurso del mes de la comunidad DIYHub me tiene muy motivada, la semana pasada compartí con ustedes un collar con pendiente de gato, así que en esta segunda ocasión les comparto un brazalete realizado en la técnica macramé con las figuras de tres tiernos gatitos, espero les guste. Materials / Materiales
- Hilo acrílico para crochet: verde claro, verde oscuro, negro, blanco, gris, beige claro, amarillo oscuro, amarillo claro, azul claro.
- Tabla con clip
- Regla de 30 cm
- Tijera
- Papel milimetrado y lápiz.

Process / Proceso
To create the pattern of the cat figures I used a reference image, to which I only changed the colors to create the Siamese cat in the center, making the calico cat and the orange cat as it was in the image. The pattern I made has 13 vertical squares, that is, the bracelet is made with 13 guide threads, it is 74 horizontal squares long, so 74 rows of simple knots will be made to complete the bracelet. Color changes are made accordingly, you can use the same pattern of the black knots and make the kitten the color you prefer.
Para crear el patrón de la figuras de gato utilicé una imagen de referencia, a la cual sólo cambie los colores para crear el gato siamés del centro, haciendo el gato cálico y el gato naranja tal cual como estaba en la imagen. El patrón que hice tiene 13 cuadros en vertical, es decir, que el brazalete se hace con 13 hilos de guía, de largo tiene 74 cuadros en horizontal, por lo que se harán 74 hileras de nudos simples para completar el brazalete. Los cambios de color se hacen según corresponda, pueden usar el mismo patrón de los nudos de color negros y hacer el gatito del color que prefieran.
With the light green thread, cut 5 strands of 60 cm long, 1 strand of 80 cm and leave the last strand attached to the ball. Clip the strands in half the length in an orderly fashion, leaving the long strands on each side and the 5 short strands in the center. With the long threads, make 20 flat knots to wrap the threads in the center, that is, the knots are alternated in the form of a "4" and in the form of a "P".
Con el hilo verde claro cortar 5 hebras de 60 cm de largo, 1 hebra de 80cm y la última hebra dejarla pegada al ovillo. Sujetar con el clip las hebras por la mitad del largo de manera ordenada, dejando de cada lado las hebras largas y las 5 hebras cortas en el centro. Con las hebras largas hacer 20 nudos planos para envolver a las hebras del centro, es decir se van alternando los nudos en forma de “4” y en forma de “P”.

Hold the colored threads with the clip and pass them behind the bracelet to add the necessary colors for the first figure. The color changes are as follows, black for the cat's silhouette knots and eyes, white for the fur, gray and dark yellow will be used for the kitten's spots, dark green for the grass on the ground.
Sujetar las hebras de color con el clip y pasarlas por detrás del brazalete para ir agregando los colores necesarios para la primera figura. Los cambios de color son los siguientes, el negro para los nudos de silueta y ojos del gato, el blanco para el pelaje, el gris y amarillo oscuro se usarán para las machas de la gatita, el verde oscuro para la grama del suelo.
For the second cat, the black color for the silhouette is maintained, the gray for the ears, muzzle and legs, as it is a Siamese cat, a strand of blue must be added to make the knots corresponding to the eyes, light beige is added for the eyes. coat color knots.

For the third cat, the black thread is kept for the silhouette and the eyes, a light yellow thread is added to make the fur and the stripes are made with the dark yellow thread, the legs and the muzzle are made with the white strand.
Para el tercer gato se mantiene la hebra de color negro para la silueta y los ojos, se agrega una hebra de amarillo claro para hacer el pelaje y las rayas de hacen con la hebra de amarillo oscuro, las patas y el hocico se hacen con la hebra de color blanco.
At the end of the third cat, make 8 rows of knots with the light green thread. Separate strands into two parts and make two rows of knots separately, taking two guide strands at the same time at the edges in this way of decreasing. Make two braids and tie a knot to finish.
Al terminar el tercer gato, hacer 8 hileras de nudos con el hilo verde claro. Separar hebras en dos partes y hacer por separado dos hileras de nudos tomando dos hebras guías a la vez en los bordes de este modo de disminuye. Hacer dos trenzas y hacer un nudo para finalizar.

I am very happy with the result, my idea was to represent the most common cat colors, the three-color cat that by genetics are threads and are called calico, the Siamese cat with its beautiful blue eyes as well as its ears and dark face, I could not missing the yellow or orange cat that are very crazy in character but also very beautiful 🥰
Estoy muy feliz con el resultado, mi idea era representar los colores de gatos más comunes, el gato de tres colores que por genética son hebras y les llaman cálico, el gato siamés con sus bellos ojos azules además sus orejas y carita oscura, no podía faltar el gato amarillo o naranja que son muy alocados de carácter pero igualmente muy bellos 🥰

Esta pulsera es de lo más cute, pero más allá de eso, la precisión de cada punto es grandiosa. Me pregunto qué hacer con los hilos de amarre, es decir en el cambio de colores, cómo se hacen las terminaciones.

Para cambiar color se cruza igual que el crochet, osea se toma el color para un nudo y el otro queda atrás si hacer nada hasta que se necesite, al final solo se corta y se esconde y ya, no es tan complejo, solo es prestar atención al cambio.
