Saludos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les comparto mi participación en el Splinterlands Art Contest Week 280, para este hice un brazalete en macramé del personaje Revealer, el cual es un hechicero muy poderoso de la Legión del Caos, lo Reveladores son seguidores de la diosa Kuktune, para agradar a la diosa deben muerte y destrucción, incluso cuando ellos ya han vencido al enemigo se vuelven contra sus compañeros porque debe matar para agradar a su diosa, si queda solo un Revelador se matará a si mismo , la magia de la luz violeta de su poder puede desintegrar a su enemigo dejando solo los huesos. Esto me pareció muy oscuro e interesante. Espero les guste el brazalete.

Greetings dear community, today I share with you my participation in the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 280, for this I made a macramé bracelet of the character Revealer, who is a very powerful sorcerer of the Legion of Chaos, the Revealers are followers of the goddess Kuktune, to please the goddess they must kill and destroy, even when they have already defeated the enemy they turn against their companions because they must kill to please their goddess, if there is only one Revealer left he will kill himself, the magic of the Violet light from his power can disintegrate his enemy leaving only bones. I found this very dark and interesting. I hope you like the bracelet.

Para hacer este brazalete lo primero que hice fue recortar la imagen de referencia para formar un rectángulo horizontal, a partir de este determiné los colores del material, usé hilo acrílico de 1mm de colores: gris para el fondo. Tres tonos de beige para la piel, marrón para los ojos y la sombra del rostro, rosado claro y oscuro para el reflejo de la luz del rostro, para el color del cabello usé negro , violeta oscuro y claro, para las calaveras blanco y gris.

To make this bracelet, the first thing I did was cut out the reference image to form a horizontal rectangle. From this I determined the colors of the material. I used 1mm colored acrylic thread: gray for the background. Three shades of beige for the skin, brown for the eyes and the shadow of the face, light and dark pink for the reflection of light on the face, for the hair color I used black, dark and light violet, for the skulls white and gray .

Diseñé el patrón de 28 hilos guía, para eso corte 14 hebras de 60 cm la dividí en dos grupos, con las hebras de los borde hice a la mitad del largo 20 nudos planos, estos se hacen alternando el uno en forma de “4” y el nudo forma de “P”. Luego doble en forma de U y los sujeté en el clip de la tabla.

I designed the pattern with 28 guide threads, for that I cut 14 strands of 60 cm, I divided it into two groups, with the edge strands I made 20 flat knots halfway along the length, these are made alternating one in the shape of a “4” and the “P” shaped knot. I then folded them into a U shape and clipped them onto the board clip.

Agregué el hilo anudador de color gris para el fondo. Hice 4 hileras de nudos para luego comenzar a agregar los demás colores de hilo anudadores, los hilos guía siempre se mantienen igual, los hilo anudadores son los que cambian de color, en cada nudo el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada hilo guía.

I added the gray knotting thread for the background. I made 4 rows of knots and then began to add the other colors of knotting thread, the guide threads always remain the same, the knotting threads are the ones that change color, in each knot the knotting thread wraps each guide thread twice.

Proseguí haciendo hileras de nudos siguiendo el patrón de la imagen, cruzando por detrás los diferentes colores de hilos anudadores.

I continued making rows of knots following the pattern in the image, crossing the different colors of knotting threads behind.

Una vez finalizado el dibujo , hice 4 hileras de nudos solo con el hilo gris, luego dividí en dos partes los hilos guía, trabajé por separado con nudos simples tomando un hilo adicional en cada borde para reducir y formar un triángulo invertido. Luego hice trenzas finalizadas con un nudo.

Once the drawing was finished, I made 4 rows of knots with only the gray thread, then I divided the guide threads into two parts, I worked separately with simple knots taking an additional thread on each edge to reduce and form an inverted triangle. Then I made braids finished with a knot.

Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, es primera vez que hago un personaje de Splinterlands en brazalete y no en colgante de pared, el reto fue más difícil porque implica hacerlo de un número reducido de nudos, además de hacer un recorte de imagen lo suficientemente reconocible dadas la pequeñas dimensiones del brazalete en comparación a la imagen. Espero les haya gustado.

I am very happy with the result, it is the first time that I make a Splinterlands character on a bracelet and not on a wall hanging, the challenge was more difficult because it involves making it with a reduced number of knots, in addition to making a sufficiently recognizable image cutout given the small dimensions of the bracelet compared to the image.
