Valuing the peace of mind I have built so far / LOH Contest 232



There are states of mind that arise from how we face what happens to us, whether with resistance or acceptance. How do you deal with life's difficulties? Identify your state of mind here.

I believe patience is a great virtue that not all of us possess. For me, it has been a long journey of building this state of mind. Being patient not only means taking the time to do things but also knowing how to wait for the right moments to make decisions. Before, I used to face many adversities with a feeling of anger growing inside me until it exploded. But I've learned to accept difficulties as they come without being impulsive, as hasty decisions that are made as a reaction rather than a true response tend to make any situation worse.

I would consider my current mental state to be calm. Regardless of the problems I think about a lot, I don't let myself be consumed by anguish and anxiety, as I've had terrible episodes when anxiety takes over. Sometimes the best way to view problems is from a more general or global perspective. I focus on the positive aspects I currently have, for example, being able to spend time with my family, working independently without pressure from anyone. I breathe a certain freedom that not everyone can have, and that makes me feel good and strong enough to face problems head-on without conflict, either with myself or with others.

Life takes many turns, but despite everything, maintaining tranquility and calm is something that I value very much, as I have mentioned on many occasions I have suffered from depression that is why I value when I am stable, knowing that I can respond more efficiently to the problems that I may have, in this sense I believe that the most important thing for me is the well-being of my family therefore the biggest problems I may have are those that have to do with my loved ones, so I try that the priority is not overshadowed by problems that are not worth it, when I find myself in an altered mental state, I try to regulate myself and maintain my valuable calm.

Hay estados de la mente que surgen de nuestra manera de enfrentarnos a lo que nos sucede, ya sea con resistencia o aceptación. ¿Cómo afrontas las dificultades de la vida? Identifica tu estado de ánimo aquí.

Creo que la paciencia es una gran virtud que no todos tenemos, para mi ha sido un largo camino de construcción de este estado mental, ser paciente no solo significa tomarme el tiempo para hacer las cosas sino también saber esperar los momentos adecuados para tomar las decisiones, antes solía afrontar muchas adversidades con un sentimiento de ira creciendo en mi interior hasta que este explotaba, pero he aprendido a aceptar las dificultades como vengan sin ser impulsiva, pues la decisiones apresuradas que son tomadas como reacción en lugar de ser una verdadera respuesta suelen emporar cualquier situación.

Consideraría que mi estado mental actualmente es de tranquilidad, independientemente de los problemas en los cuales pienso mucho no me dejo consumir por la angustia y la ansiedad, pues episodios terribles he tenido cuando la ansiedad se apodera de mí, a veces la mejor manera de ver lo problemas es desde una perspectiva más general o global, me enfoco en los aspectos positivos que tengo en la actualidad, por ejemplo el poder estar con mi familia, el trabajar de manera independiente sin presiones de ninguna persona, respiro cierta libertad que no todo el mundo puede tener y eso me hace sentir bien y fuerte como para aceptar los problemas de frente sin entrar en conflicto ni conmigo misma ni con los demás.

La vida da muchas vueltas, pero a pesar de todo conservar la tranquilidad y la calma es algo que valoro demasiado, como he mencionado en muchas oportunidad he sufrido de depresión por eso valoro cuando estoy estable, sabiendo que puedo responder de forma más eficiente a los problemas que pueda tener, en este sentido creo que lo mas importante para mi es el bienestar de mi familia por lo tanto los mayores problemas yo pueda tener son los que tengan relación con mis seres queridos, así que intento que lo prioritario no se vea opacado por problemas que no valen la pena, cuando me encuentro a mí misma en estado mental alterado, trato de regularme y mantener mi valiosa calma.

I agree with you, patience is knowing how to wait for the right time to make the right decisions and not in a rushed way or in a way that can make situations worse. You're right, patience is important but I can't help but fret whenever things go the wrong way for me or not how I plan. Maybe I need to work on my being patience, lol.

Life sometimes can be a lot to grapple with, at those junctures, peace of mind belongs a valuable asset.

Depression is worse and no one should be in that state

There is no worse state than anxiety and sadness, because when we stay calm, nothing else is needed. Everything is better than when we take life more calmly.

A veces también puedo perder un poco la paciencia, pero como dije comparado a como reaccionaba antes la tranquilidad que tengo ahora no la cambiaría para volver atrás, he aprendido bastante a conservar la calma y seguir adelante frente a las cosas duras de la vida. Un abrazo! 💜
